"Thank you Alfred." I sighed as I layed back on the bed.
"It was no problem Miss Cheshire. Sleep well." He says with a grin as he closes my door. Wrapping myself in the plush comforter I fall asleep
"Cheshire. Come on time to get up the rest of the league is ready to meet." I hear Dick say as the blinds are opened.
"Good morning Dick." I yawn as I stand. As I stand I immediately fall into a back bend. "Did you sleep well?" I ask him as I rise into a hand stand. At least my brain is functioning and I have to stay limber.
"I've lived with Bruce for a majority of my life but he never does that much right out of bed." Dick says watching me while shaking his head.
"Oh hush. I just have to make sure everything is ready for the day. I have to stay limber." I yawn as I bring my feet back down to stand up correctly. "Okay give me ten minutes to catch a shower and suit up." I tell him as I grab my newly cleaned suit, courtesy of Alfred. I woke up when he opened my door to replace it.
"Sure meet me down stairs when you're ready." He says leaving the room so I can get ready.
Hopping into the shower I rinse off preparing for the day. Afterwards I get out and slip on my body suit. Feels so good to be back in it!
Leaving my room I come out to the landing of the stairs. The sight instantly reminded me of home with my Aunt, Uncle, and Vincent. Chuckling sadly I took a few steps away from the banister. With my back to it I inhaled.
Doing a one handed cartwheel I flip over the banister. Feeling the wind rush around me I straighten my body and prepare to land. Hearing a shout I sigh and land in a crouch on the bottom floor.
"What the heck where you thinking kid!" I hear a voice ask from behind me.
Standing with my signature grin I turn to him.
"Sorry, force of habit." I tell him as I meet Dicks eyes.
"What do you mean, 'force of habit.'? You could've killed yourself!" He exclaims.
"Could have but I didn't. I do this kind of stuff all the time." I wave my hand at him nonchalantly.
"Oh really. Come on Bruce is ready to go." Dick says as he grabs my hand from the air and pulls me behind him.
"Where are we going?" I ask as I follow him to what appears to be the study. One wall filled with books another with a fireplace at the center and others with art pieces.
"The Hall of Justice." He says calmly as he presses one of the bricks in on the fireplace. The once roaring fire goes out with a gust of wind and slides back to reveal a stairwell.
"This is just as I imagined it would be like." I giggle as he pulls me down the stairs beside him.
"That doesn't sound strange at all." He laughs as we reach the end of the steps.
"I knew she was involved some how." Someone says from the room we just entered.
Looking up I meet the face of Jason Todd.
"Oh joy." I say under my breath. "Is he accompanying us?" I ask Dick as I shoot Jason a sharp look, knowing my eyes turned as cold as steel.
"He is. From the looks I'm assuming you both have met?" Bruce asks as he strolls in with his Batman suit on without the cowl.
"Regretfully so." I answer with a nod. Squirming out of Dicks grip on my hand I reach back and begin to braid my hair back. "Now when are we leaving?" I ask Bruce as I finish my hair.
"Now actually." Bruce says as he walks towards one of the vehicles in the cave.
"It has been a pleasure Miss Cheshire." Alfred says from behind me. Turning I grin at the old butler walking over to him I give him a hug.
"The pleasure was mine dear Alfred. Hopefully we shall see each other again one day. But on better terms. " I say pulling back and giving him a bright smile.
"I shall hope so. Now you must be on your way. Farewell Cheshire Cat." He says releasing me and turning me towards the others. With a little push he turns and leaves.
"I adore him." I grin as we climb aboard the jet.
"Who doesn't." I hear Bruce chuckle.
