"Tell me how the mission went!" I tell him as we find a couple of seats. After taking a few swallows of the drink I can feel everything beginning to right itself.
"It wasn't anything major. Just Harley trying to cry out for Jokers attention by robbing a bank. She is pretty good when she is determined but nothing Red Robin, Batgirl and I couldn't handle. I heard you've been keeping the League on their toes today?" He grinned as he watched me listen to his recount of the day.
"Oh my goodness!" I blush realizing what all happened today. "Well it all started after Flash and I raced, I beat him. And he was curious to see if I could beat the other head leaguers. So I did combat with Canary and won. I think Superman and I are in the same league in strength. And I beat Batman at stealth as you saw." I say happily as I grasp his hand in excitement.
"Well you had a full day. No wonder you were dehydrated. Come on let's head back to the room." He said as he took the empty bottle from me.
"That is the best idea I've heard all day." I chuckle as I intertwine our fingers again.
"You know we never got to talk more about when this all blows over." He says holding the door for me with his other hand.
"I know. And I want to of course. But I want to defeat Loki first before I get to excited." I smirk leaning into him a little more.
"I'm holding you to that." He smiles and kisses my forehead. "But I have one question." He says leading me back down the hall.
"Ask away love." I tell him watching the pattern on the floor go by beneath us.
"Will you sing for me again?" He asks sounding hesitant. Looking up at him I smile.
"Anything you want me to." I giggle as we reach the door.
"Anything." He asks almost sounding childish with his request.
"Okay then." I sigh feeling the perfect song come to me. "But first let's change and lay down." I tell him. Walking over to the bed I grab my pjs and walk over to the bathroom.
After changing I launch myself onto the bed. Crawling to the head board I wait for Dick. After a few minutes he walks back into the room from the other bathroom. Laying down he wraps his arms around my waist.
"I'm ready my lovely songstress." He chuckles. Smiling I begin to run my fingers through his hair.
"Fine." I chuckle before beginning singing softly to him.

He could be a stranger, he gave a certain glance' I chuckle slightly as I see Dick glance up at me. Knowing he remembers our first encounter.

Glancing back down at him I notice he is sleeping with a peaceful look on his face. Sighing with a grin on my face I turn off the light and snuggle down into him.
For once in the past forever I fall asleep without any demons coming to wake me. I suppose these nightmares are the demons I can't stand.
Falling into a dreamless sleep I let my body mold to Dicks.
"Rise and shine sleeping beauty." I hear Dick call from beside me. Groaning I reach out for him only to hear him chuckle at my attempts.
"Can't we just wake up like normal people?" I sigh as I let my arms drop.
"This is normal for me. Now come on the scientists have arrived and are ready to get started." He tells me as he smirks and grasps my hand. Pulling me up gently and muses my hair.
"No! You'll only make it worse or get yourself hurt." I whine trying to move away from him.
"Where do you think you're going? We've got work to do." Dick demands as he stays at the edge of the bed with his arms crossed over his chest.
"What does it look like. I'm getting ready for work." I shrug as I lay in the center of the bed. Disappearing I use my super speed to get dressed. I reappear sitting in front of him.
"Woah!" He shouts taking a half step backwards. "I would ask how but I already know. But geez!"
"I've got to get better at using two powers at once. I mean we're going to war here." I giggle as I stand up and tug him over to the door.
"Speaking of that we do need to talk." He begins as we walk out of the room and down the hall.
"About what? The war?" I ask confused. What could we possibly talk about involving that. We would put together a machine and I'd go back and help the Avengers defeat Loki. Then I will. Wait! What am I going to do after the war. I mean I'm not from that dimension. I have no job, no family, no home.
"I was wandering about your situation back there. Where do you live if you aren't from that world or dimension?" He asks intertwining our hands.
"Um. Actually i've just been living on the base there." I shrug the reality of the situation just occurring to me.
"You should come back here." He blurts. Stopping us in the middle of the hall I pull him aside.
"Are you aware of what you are saying?" I ask him trying to beat back the nervous and excited butterflies in my chest.
"Completely. We can talk more about this later. But for now the scientists need you." Dick says pulling me closer to his side as we walk further down the hall to what appears to be the lab.
"Now that you're here we can get started." Bruce says as we enter the room.
