"So, Vistianna, that's a pretty name." Nightwing said as we walked towards where I would be staying for my time here.
"Thank you." I tell him with a small smile as we round one of the corners. I can just feel the awkward in the air.
"About earlier. It really was an accident." He said stopping me and grasping my hands as he stood in front of me.
"Dick I know it was an accident. And it is okay." I chuckle as I look down at our hands.
His firm and gloved hands held mine tightly. As my gaze traveled up his arms I noticed how muscular and strong they looked. I'm not all about appearances but Dick Grayson was mind blowingly handsome even with his mask still on. His bright blue eyes stared directly into mine. I hadn't noticed how close we had gotten until our bodies were nearly pressed together. It was hard to remember who had moved closer to the other or maybe it was mutual.
"I shouldn't do this." I mumbled to myself as I leaned closer to him, rising up on my toes.
"I don't see why?" He whispered. His cool breath blowing over my face making me shut my eyes.
"My boyfriend just broke up with me." I whisper back my eyes still shut, feeling his arms wrap around my waist.
"Sounds like your single to me." He smirked closing the distance between us.
Describing this kind of kiss evades me. it felt like warmth, love, understanding, and excitement. Honestly it might even be better then Steve's. Breaking the kiss I open my eyes only to look directly into Dick's. Leaning my forehead on his I bite my lip.
"That was.... amazing." Dick said as a smile spreads across his face.
"Dick I honestly just broke up with my boyfriend and now I'm in a whole other dimension kissing a stranger. The kiss was amazing but it was a mistake." I tell him as I try to take a step away. Try being the keyword, my feet wouldn't let me move.
"I understand but how about this. I'm in the same position as you. My girlfriend broke it off with me earlier as well. And we are strangers to each other. But I would like to change that. If you are interested that is?" Dick said as he leaned back.
"I wouldn't mind. But I don't know if it's the right thing to do. I mean I am definitely not one if those girls that always likes to keep a guy on her arm at all times. And, no offense, I don't kiss on the first date unless it was superb! This is just moving to fast for me." I groan as I run my hands through my hair and bite my lip.
"Vistianna, calm down! I understand. But there is just something about you that just draws me to you. I know it may be too soon but I want to get to know you better. Even if you won't be here long." Dick shrugged as he watched me.
"I appreciate that Dick and I would love to take you up on your offer. But as of now, at one o'clock in the morning I want to take a shower and sleep." I chuckle.
"Well we are on the same page. This is your room here." He said opening the door for me and gesturing around the room. It was utterly gorgeous.
The scheme was made up of a teal, white, and grey. With a large queen sized bed in the center of it all. There was a glass door leading out to a balcony looking to overlook the gardens. And the pristine bathroom could be seen from the entrance.
"Oh my goodness. It is beautiful! I love it!" I beam turning to hug Dick before he could reply.
