"The worst hangover couldn't compare to that. Everyone make it in one piece?" I hear someone call out as I slowly come to. Hearing a collective groan I sigh. Another trip through a wormhole only to find out it's little ole me creating them.
"Cheshire?" I hear Dick groan from above me. "Cheshire! Are you okay? Did you hit your head?" He gasps kneeling down next to my sprawled out and motionless body. Forcing one eye open I look into his worried glowing blue eyes. Groaning I sit up and pinch the bridge of my nose, trying to make the throbbing in my head cease.
"I'm fine. Actually this one hurt a heck of a lot less than when I fell into the alley." I chuckle watching him stand and hold out a hand to help me up. Grasping his hand I stand and look around to check on the other Leaguers. Some of them already standing while the others assessed their minor injuries. Looking around more intently I recognize my surroundings.
"We're in my room. We made it!" I gasp as I recognize my bed, still tousled from how I left it last.
"Great. Now do you want to explain exactly how you opened up a 'portal'." I hear a sarcastic and familiar voice say from behind me. Turning quickly I glare at the masked man.
"How did you get here." I hiss at him as the others turn to see Jason leaning against the door.
"It's simple really I snuck in to see if the machine was really going to work, which it did not. And in turn I got sucked here with everyone else." He shrugs. Feeling a headache come on I turn away from him. He's here now and until I can get a hang of this new ability he's going to be stuck here with us.
"If everyone is in one piece we should probably make our way to the Director. He'll be able to help." I sigh glancing over all of the people that stood before me. Turning back to the door I lightly push Jason out of the way and exit into the empty hall. Walking briskly down the hall and towards the bridge I notice that it's dark out. Meaning many of the agents are probably in their dorms or have gone home. But if I know Nicholas Fury he is still standing on the bridge with the night shift agents watching over everything. Taking a small detour I gather everyone into a meeting room.
"I'll be right back with the Director. Please no wandering off." I tell them pointedly looking at the Flash who holds his hands up in surrender. Walking out of the room and quickly to the bridge I spot just the man I was looking for.
"Fury if you have a moment I have something very urgent to talk to you about." I announce as I join him on the bridge.
"How may I help you Vistiana." He says turning towards me. Oddly his face did not register the shock of not having seen me in a week. Then again the time in each dimension is different, I wonder how long I have been gone here.
"Actually it's something you both need to see and hear." I say with a glance around the room hoping that he would take the hint that we needed to do this in private. Nodding his head he gestured for me to lead the way.
"What's going on Cat?" Nick asked as we stepped into the not so busy hallway.
"I don't know how to explain this but I guess the best place would be to start is the beginning." I sigh running my fingers through my hair. "I created a portal. Not like the one Tony, Bruce, and I constructed but it was one of my own design. What I am trying to say is that I have the ability to create these transdimensional doorways. I don't know how but I do. In the dimension I ended up in I have been gone a week. But here it seems I have barely been gone long enough for anyone to notice. The major thing I wanted to talk to you about is the fact that in that other dimension there is a group of super heros and they have offered their help in bringing down Loki." I exhaled, hoping that it was all in some semblance of sanity.
