3RD PERSON

Sasha somehow managed to get Joseph let her alone to Jessica's party.

She felt so bad for her kids, but they reassured her that they are happy for her to go somewhere alone and have fun.

Although she would need to pay her price for that.

"Oh my God Sasha! You look so fucking great. You're so sexy." Serenity hyped up Sasha, making her chuckle.

"Oh calm down. I don't even look that good." Sasha said, checking herself out in the mirror.

"Oh shut up. Are we ready to go?"
"Yeah, sure."

Two of them sat in Serenity's car, before driving to Jessica's house.

Jessica opened the doors for them, letting them inside and engulfing them in hug.

They walked out to the yard, together as they talked.

"Okay, go get yourself drinks, some food, whatever you're down for. I'll be back soon." Jessica said, walking over to some other people.

"There's a lot of drinks here."
"Yeah, kind of. But that's Jess. She always makes sure everyone find something that they like." Sasha shrugged, looking around drinks and trying to figure out what she wants to drink.

"Yeah. Shall we take some of this?" Serenity pointed to some alcohol. Sasha hated drinking, all because of Joseph. She would sometimes, if she really needs to, but preferred not to just because she didn't want her kids thinking she is like their dad.

"I'm not sure I want to drink. I don't want to go home tipsy."
"We'll just take this one and for the rest of the night drink soda or something. I don't want to drink too much either."
"Okay then, I guess."

They stood at a table, talking about some stuff.

Time passed by, and they eventually found Serenity's old best friend so they talked to her and her husband for a while, until Sasha heard her name being called.

"Hello, mind me stealing these two from you?" Jessica smiled as she referred to Sasha and Serenity.

"Sha, T, I want to meet you up with some people. C'mon." Jessica said, leading them to basically other side of the yard.
"Who are they?"
"You'll see."

"Woah." A man said, making his friend turn around just before Sasha, Jessica, and Serenity walked up to them.

"Hello ladies." Adam was already checking them out, while Jaden's eyes widened.

"These are Jaden and Adam. Adam, Jaden, these are-"
"Sasha and Serenity." Jaden said, making Adam's and Jessica's eyes widen.

"You guys know each other?" Jessica questioned, confused since Jaden moved here just few weeks ago.
"Oh, yeah, we met in shop. And our kids are also friends." Sasha answered, making Adam curse Jaden out in his mind.

Sasha and Serenity shook their hands with Adam, with him giving them both compliments.

Someone called Jessica, making her excuse herself before rushing off. Now. it was only four of them.

"Anyone wants to grab a drink?" Adam asked as he looked around at the court with alcohol.

"I'm fine." Sasha answered, making Adam nod his head. He just hoped Serenity would go with him. Although she looked slightly younger, that doesn't mean she is.

"I'm good too." Jaden looked down at his cup that was almost full.
"I'll go with." Serenity said, walking away with Adam.

"Such a coincidence to meet you here. I didn't expect you, honestly." Smile appeared on Jaden's face as he looked at Sasha.

"Why?"
"I don't know. I didn't know you're friends with Jessica." He just shrugged it off, taking a sip of his drink.
"Oh, I am. For quite long time. We're really close. How did you meet her?"
"Oh, it was a total coincidence. I was with Adam, out, and she came over. She is friends with him, so she invited us both here. I'm pretty sure she was once on my working place or something." Jaden quickly explained, earning a nod from Sasha.

"Ooh. Yeah, actually. She did work in that company. How have you been? I haven't seen you for a while." She changed the subject, not wanting to become awkward since they were stuck together.

"I've been really busy, and my paths didn't meet with your shop for few days. But I've been great. Kids planned on making another sleepover soon, as far as I've got to know." Jaden smiled widely, making Sasha slightly raise a brow. She was almost hundred percent sure her kids would inform her because they'd get too excited.

"Oh, I don't know. Girls didn't tell me anything."
"I don't think they invited them yet. But were talking last night about it and whole day today."
"Oh, really?" Smiled glued on Sasha's lips. She was glad Mitchell kids were excited to be friends with her kids.
"Yeah. They had so much fun last weekend."
"Yeah, kids told me about it."

Jaden and Sasha continued their conversation. They even moved down in the yard to a big swing, because both of their legs started hurting. For some reason, Serenity and Adam never returned back to them.

But Sasha noticed them with some other people.

She did it on purpose. Sasha thought it to herself as she continued to talk to Jaden.

——

"Is that that beautiful woman you mentioned?" Adam questioned Jaden, pushing his foot with his own. They were currently sat in their chairs on the work.

"Yeah, she is. But please, do not refer ot her like that because she's married. Be a little respectful." Jaden pulled a face at Adam, already knowing he probably fantasized about her.

"Chill out man. Who's her husband anyway?"
"I don't know, I never saw him. But when Mads and Rick were over last weekend they told me about their family. Mads had few incidents with her husband. And it was not just for one reason."
"What do you mean?" Adam raised a brow, waiting to hear the story. He knew Jaden had some things going on in his mind, and it looked like he would finally get it all out.

"Well, kind of expected, because of alcohol. He is an alcoholic that does nothing but drink alcohol. It was mutliple times. And then, other reason is when their neighbors called to report him few years ago. He abuses her and kids. And it was not just one time. And Mads went there every time, because she knows that her colleague is his cousin and would protect him at all costs. And it was just not a sight to see. And she tried to make Sasha leave him and everything, but nothing worked on her. Sasha knew he has people in police that are covering him and it would just take a turn. And so, they never managed to do anything about. And I'm sure it's going on through their whole marriage. Because everyone knew he was abusive before they even got married. But she couldn't leave him and decided to marry him. It sort of played out on a relationship with her parents. They didn't talk for a while before getting in contact again, but it was not long after that that they both died in car crash. She got married at 18. Finished highschool and gave birth at 19. There's probably more to the story but I don't know it." Jaden explained, not going too much in detils. Adam's eyes were only widening as he listened to his best friend.

"Holy shit. Poor woman. And poor kids."
"I know. I know."
"You seem like you're onto something, huh?" Adam knew Jaden too well to figure out he was planning something.

"How do you know?"
"I know you man. I know something's going through your head right now."
"I just want to help her and her kids. Get them out of that awful place." Jaden sighed, moving his chair side to side.

"Jaden, I know that your father had problem with being 'angry' when he drinks, but maybe it's just better if you don't involve yourself. It would probably get worse for them."
"Yeah, but it's not going to go like this. Especially that I got to know her a little and the kids. They are not like that at all. They are so pure and such sweethearts. And this is not even about my dad." Jaden argued back, but both him and Adam knew he wouldn't give up. When Jaden plans something, that something will happen.

"So what do you have in plan?"
"I'm not really sure yet." Jaden sighed, getting back to his work.
