3RD PERSON

"Hey." Madeline smiled at Jaden as he sat down on the chair across her.

"Hey."
"What's up?"
"Nothing really."
"Jaden, you literally texted me we need to meet to talk about something on the break. What's it about? Sasha?" Madeline rolled her eyes at the stupid man sat in front of her.
"Yes."
"What happened?"
"I may or may not slipped something out last night when I didn't even plan on it and may or may not just basically ran away like a bitch afterwards and it may or may not just ruined everything two of us had going on." Jaden said, looking down at his cup of coffee, feeling guilty.

"What did you slip out?"
"W-Well, I didn't mean to really tell her that that early."
"Jaden, just say it already."
"I told her I'm in love with her." Madeline's eyes widened as she looked at her friend.

"I know, I know. You don't need to kill me with that look."
"You really said it?" Madeline smiled, making Jaden nod.

She felt so happy that her friend has finally moved on from his dead wife. She was so happy for him.

"You mean it, right?"
"Yes, I do. I'd never joke with that. And I'm sure Sasha knows it too. That's why I'm scared I just ruined everything. She was manipulated for years, I'm not sure if she is ready to get that far." Jaden explained everything, his heart breaking that he ruined something that was so perfect between them.

"Did you talk to her afterwards?"
"No."
"So you said it, freaked out, left her alone on the street and haven't spoke with her since?"

Madeline was slightly mad at Jaden. It's just not the right way to do anything in a relationship. It's only gonna worsen up stuff.

"Y-Yeah."
"That doesn't seem like you Jaden. You're the person to always talk about everything that happens. If I was on her place, I wouldn't even be thinking that you said it too fast, but that you regret saying it and that you don't mean it."

"But-"
"Look at it from another perspective. It seems like you just accidentally threw it around without meaning and then ran away and now you don't want to do anything with her. It's not you Jaden, I know that. But in her shoes, I'm sure I'd think that too even if I was the one that knew you the best in the whole world."

Madeline was right and Jaden knew it too. He was just so embarrassed to even talk to Sasha again.

"What do I fucking do now? I'm such a fucking idiot." Jaden groaned as he ran his hands over his face and then held them tangled in his hair.

"I think you just need to talk to her. See what she has to say. And make sure to reassure her you mean those words from depth of your heart, but you understand it's really early to say it and get that serious. Because if you say you didn't mean to say it or ask her to forget about it she will think that you don't mean it and that's when everything goes south."
"Okay. But I can't do that today. I genuinely cannot."
"Tomorrow then. But you really have to do it."
"I will." Jaden nodded his head, taking a sip of his drink.

"I'll see you later girls. Turn the sound on your phones up, if I call you. Alright?"
"Okayy."
"See ya!" Two girls went out of the yard and made their way to Rhianna's and Sofia's house where they would meet up.

"Hey girls, come in, they are gonna be ready in second."
"Oh, alright." Phoebe and Sara took of their shoes and followed Sasha to the living room.

"You wanna go to their room?"
"No, it's alright We'll just wait here."
"Oh, um, Sasha, can I ask you something?"
"Yeah, of course."
"Can you talk to dad about him and Linda?"
"Him and Linda? Why?"
"I'm worried about their relationship. They've been going on dates and all but he seems a little off and I think it has something to do with her." Phoebe asked woman that she now became seeing as her mother.
"O-Oh. Okay, I will. Don't worry."

So Linda and Jaden have been going on dates? - Sasha asked herself as she went to see where Rhianna and Sofia are.

"Are you girls ready? Your friends are waiting."
"Yeah, we were just about to get out."
"Okay."

Just after four girls left the house Jessica and Denton walked back inside from their yard.

"What's wrong?"
"Oh, uh, nothing. I just got a little caught off guard."
"By who?"
"Phoebe just asked me to talk to Jaden about him and Linda. They've been going on dates but apparently she thinks something is off."
"I doubt it. It must just be a misunderstanding."
"I don't know."

Sasha knew Jaden wasn't that type of guy. He would never do that. But she never knew when she could trust a person. Or better say she was just searching for a reason to push Jaden away because she was scared of continuing this that they had. She was scared she'd get hurt. And she didn't want to let herself fall so deep for him.

"If he doesn't talk to you today you should go to is office tomorrow. You can't just let a feeling ruin all that you were building together. And, you won't get anything with ignoring each other because you're scared, embarrassed or whatever. Y'all are grown people, and you should act like that."
"You know what, you're right. I'll go to his office tomorrow and talk to him."
"That's the attitude I love." Jessica smiled as she nudged Sasha's shoulder before two of them walked to the living room.
