Chapter 32

April 4th, 2022

3RD PERSON

"Mom!" Denton ran up to his mom, making her pick him up.

"Hey love." She said, placing a kiss on his head.

"Mom, what's up?" Rhianna asked worried as she could see the look on her mom's face. She's been crying.

"Hey. I need a moment to talk to you and your sister. You are going to stay over here tonight, alright? I got you clothes it those backpacks."
"O-oh. Okay, I'll go get Sofia."
"C'mon buddy, you'll hug momma later, give her a moment with your sisters. I'll play with you and C."
"Alright." Denton bounded of back to Connor's room.

"You got this." Jaden rubbed Sasha's back before following Denton in the room.

"Hey momma, what happened?"
"Come here, come here." Sasha patted the couch, waiting for two of her daughters to sit next to her.

"What happened?"
"Did they arrest him?"
"Listen. Everything was going just like planned, until your father didn't want to corporate."
"What do you mean?"
"They shot him in the head, because he was going to hurt people with a knife. There was no way out. It was his life or someone else's."
"Your life, isn't it?" Rhianna furrowed her eyebrows, her eyes filling with tears.

"But everything is alright, I just had to tell you guys. You might see something on the TV or kids in school start talking something. We can't be in house for few days, so you'll stay here. Jaden told me he wants you guys to stay here."
"Where are you going?"
"I will be at Serenity's house. We will still talk every day, everything will be alright. We will just need few days to fix the window that had to be broken when bullet went to shoot Joseph. And also, you know."
"Blood."
"Yeah. But then, we are finally getting normal life. All four of us. Okay?" Sasha smiled at her daughters, making them nod before she pulled them in hug.

"We love you momma."
"I love you guys. More than anything on this planet." Sasha said, kissing both of their heads.

"Okay, it's getting late now and I'm sure Jaden wants you all to sleep because there's school tomorrow. Be good and take care of your brother for me, please. Alright?"
"Yeah."
"Hey, Sasha, I forgot about this. Serenity gave this to me, she said you'll know. I don't know what's it about, I just thought I'd give it to you now." Jaden said as he walked inside of the living room, handing Sasha a mobile phone.

"O-oh. Okay. Thank you."
"Of course." Jaden disappeared in the house again, leaving them alone in living room.

"What's that?"
"That's T's old phone. She wanted to give it to you guys, but due to situation we were in, you weren't able to have it. Now, you'll have to share it for some time until we settle and I get enough money to buy another phone for you guys, alright? I'll ask Jaden to quickly go and buy a number for that phone so you can call me or whoever. Okay?"
"Yeah. Thank you so much mom." They hugged her again. Three of them were crying, tears streaming down their faces while they talked.

"Alright, can you call your brother so I can kiss him goodnight?"
"Yeah." Sofia went down the hall and called Denton with them in the living room.

"C'mere buddy." Sasha picked Denton up, pulling him in a tight hug.

"Are we going home now mommy?"
"No. You guys will stay here for day or two, we can't really go to our home. Okay? But then we are going back."
"Oh, okay."
"Okay?"
"Mhmm."
"You will listen to Jaden and be a good boy for mommy?" Sasha was caressing Denton's cheek as she looked at his big brown eyes.

"I will."
"Okay. I love you bub."
"I love you too mommy." Denton kissed Sasha's cheek, before she placed few kisses on his cheek.

Jaden leaned on the wall as he watched them, waiting for Sasha to say bye to her kids so he could drive her to Serenity's house.

"Hey Jaden, would you mind quickly going to my shop so I can buy something?"
"What do you need? Maybe I have it here."
"A phone card."
"New number? I think I have it here. Because P thought she lost her card when we bought new phone and then ended up finding her old one. I could be wrong though." Jaden said as he opened the drawer and went through it.

"Yeah, here it is."
"Oh, thank you. Here, let me just find-" Sasha took out her wallet, but Jaden stopped her soon enough.

"Don't be silly. No one was using it anyway."
"Thank you."
"Do you girls need help with putting it in the phone? I think those need a little like stick to put in. Phoebe and Sara can help you, or I can. It's no problem."
"Yeah, I'll ask P to help me."
"Good."
"Hey Sash." Phoebe, Sara and Connor walked into living room, going over to the couch to give Sasha a hug.

"Okay, now, everyone is tired, you guys have school tomorrow and we have work. Especially you boys. You two little chickens need to get into the bed by the time I'm back, and you girls shouldn't be up for too long either. Alright?"
"Okay."

Sasha got up from the couch, giving her kids a last kiss, telling everyone goodnight before leaving with Jaden.

"You just gotta tell me where we are going because I don't know where your friend lives."
"Just down the street here. She's not too far away."
"Oh, alright." Jaden and Sasha sat in the car, before he turned on the engine and drove off.

"Are you excited for this new chapter with your kids?"
"Yes. I'm scared too, but yeah."
"You have no reason to be scared. You have your friends, you have my family, Madi, Rick and Linda will be down to help you with whatever you need. You have me, Sash." Jaden reassured Sasha, looking over at her.

"I know, but still."
"If you need help with financial stuff I'm ready to help you out. Kids won't need to know about it if you don't want to. But I want you to know you have a true friend ready to help you with anything you need. I know it's gonna be tough now, especially if there's nothing on your card and it's only 4th in the month. It will take time until you are ready to stand on your feet, it's not embarrassing to ask for help."
"Okay, thank you Jaden. That means a lot to me to have you by my side."
"Of course. Is this it?"
"Yeah."
"Okay then, I'll help you get your bags to the doors." Jaden said, getting out of the car and taking two back packs from the back of his car.

"I'll see you tomorrow, call me if you need anything, and I mean anything. Alright?"
"Okay, thank you so much." Jaden engulfed Sasha into a tight hug, before handing her two bags and saying bye.

Sasha knocked onto the doors and waited for Serenity to open.

"Oh my God!" Serenity opened the doors, engulfing Sasha into a hug.

Jaden finally drove off, knowing that she is safe inside of the house.
