3RD PERSON
After they've went through the whole plan and spent quite a lot of time in the café, they all said bye to each other and got into their cars.
"You did amazing, Sasha. And I really mean it. You are so strong when it comes to talking about what you've been through. It's even a little shocking honestly."
"Thank you for doing this for me, Jaden. I'm really grateful."
"Of course. You don't need to thank me. I knew from the moment you told me I had to be the one to help you, and I would never give up on it."
"Thank you."
"Not again." Jaden almost groaned, making Sasha chuckle a little.
"Okay, but we have to talk about something."
"What exactly?"
"Are you going to report him for sexual abuse. You didn't tell me too much about it, but it was enough for me to understand what you wanted to say that night."
"I don't know Jaden. I don't want kids to know about that. Because then everyone will know I was basically raped like so many times by the man that I'm in marriage with. It will be, like, he's my husband, why wouldn't we have sex?"
"Because it's not about marriage, relationship or love. It's about consent, Sasha. You never gave him consent for taking off your clothes or getting you pregnant or doing anything he did to you. Who cares if you're married if you don't wanna have sex then it's a no and he shouldn't touch you. He can contain himself or find other ways to get his relief. Not press you into helping him to get his relief. It doesn't work like that." Jaden explained, almost getting mad at what he just heard Sasha say.
"Like, I'm sorry, I know you didn't talk to your parents for years and then they died, but didn't you ever hear about consent? Doesn't matter about type of relationship, you should be able to tell a person when you don't want to do something and then they respect your decision."
"I know Jaden. But what can I do? You are not in my place. You may have three kids too that you're raising on your own, but you can't compare your situation with mine. And don't even try putting yourself in my shoes because you can't even imagine what all has happened."
"I know. But you need to punish him for everything."
"I don't know Jaden, I'll really have to think about it. You didn't tell anyone, right?"
"No, no. I didn't. But please think about it."
"Okay. Thank you again for the ride, I'll see you soon."
"Okay, I'll see you." Sasha got out of the car, turning around to wave at Jaden before she walked in the shop.
Jaden drove off to go and wait for kids in front of school since it made no sense to go back home and drive back in around 10 minutes.
——
"So how was it?" Serenity asked as she saw Sasha walk in the shop.
"Uh, good I guess? We really discussed everything, figured everything out. Yeah, it was good."
"That's good. You wanna tell me about your plan?"
"Yeah. So Madeline's husband, Roderick, would come to our house and get Joseph to sign these papers about legalization, but it will actually be divorce papers and papers where he is signing everything we own under my name 100%..." Sasha went on to get Serenity through their plan quickly before kids come back from school.
"And then they will come in apparently before he has time to touch me, or just hurt me too bad. They would keep him in jail for domestic violence and then I just have to make a report on domestic violence. And we'd have to go to the court where they would question us about it and everything and he would be done for apparently 40 years. I don't know how they'll do that, but I'm just going to trust them that he won't make it out of prison after three years."
"That's so well made plan. I actually like it. It makes so much sense."
"Yeah."
"Momma!" Denton ran into the store, followed 2 minutes later by his sisters.
"Hey munchkin."
"Hi T!"
"Hey Denny. What's up?"
"Nothing. I missed you today mommy."
"Oh you did?"
"Yeah."
"Hey momma."
"Hey girls. How was school?"
"Meh, boring."
"Okay, come and quickly eat what's there in the back so we can go home on time."
"What's in the back?" Sofia asked as she followed her siblings to the back of the store.
Since Sasha started getting those plus 200 dollars in January, she would get something for her kids, make them eat it in rush before they go home so they can eat well at least one meal. She also started giving them more things to eat in school, sometimes even give them few dollars so they can buy themselves something instead of her buying them.
It would confuse Rhianna and Sofia every time, sometimes even Denton, but Sasha would never tell them how did she get those stuff.
Once kids ate food, Serenity and Sasha fot ready to go back to their homes.
Serenity packed the left overs and brought them to her home, and then she will bring them again tomorrow, because Sasha simply cannot bring it to her home.
"Mom, you really have to explain where do you get all of that food and money?" Rhianna asked as she stood near her mom in the bathroom.
"Okay, listen. In January, my boss decided to give 200 dollars in envelope to Serenity and me because there is always somehow more buyers when Serenity and I work. So I have that money now to at least get you some food for every day."
"Wait, that's amazing."
"It is. I just didn't want to tell you in front of Denton in case it might just slip him out in wrong situation. But yeah, that's all."
"Thank you mom."
"You don't have to thank me. You deserve at least food when I can't give you more." Sasha sighed, kissing Rhianna's head as they were in bathroom together.
Sasha planned on talking tomorrow to Sofia and Rhianna about going to court and giving their statements. She didn't plan on pressing them, but she needed to tell the kids what is happening soon.
