"Mm, that smells delicious." Jaden almost groaned as he joined Sasha in the kitchen, standing beside her so he would see what she is making.

"You can try." Sasha giggled, raising a spoon to Jaden's mouth.

"Mmm, it tastes even better than it smells." Jaden nodded his head as he chewed the food in his mouth.

"Well, hope they think too."
"Honestly, if they don't they can eat whatever they want, because there will be more for us." Sasha laughed at Jaden's statement.

"I'll help you set up the table."
"No, it's okay. You can return to kids."
"I can at least do something. My kids can't get used to woman completely taking my place in kitchen." Jaden joked, causing chuckle to leave Sasha's mouth.

The situation that they were in made Sasha get deja vu from her dream. It was almost the same like in the dream.

But she tried push away those thoughts, continuing to finish the lunch.

Sitting at the table, felt as if they were one big family. They laughed a lot and ate good.

Sasha's kids almost weren't used to get three meals a day. It's been past few weeks that they've been eating more food, but it still wasn't enough what a human being should get in their system.

But now, everything is different. It will definitely take them time to get used to not having bruises all over their bodies, being able to eat whenever they feel hungry, and most important they will be happy. They will. And Sasha promised to herself she will make her kids happpy now that she finally got a chance.

——

"Oh c'mon Sasha, you don't have to do them. Especially not right away. You've already made the food and everything. I'll just put it later in the dishwasher."
"It's okay, it's not a problem."
"You're making me think that I made you feel like you have to be a maid here just because your kids are here or whatever reason. Is it true?"
"No, it's just, I guess I'm used to this. It's really not a problem to me."
"I know you're used to it, but things are changing now. Okay? So let's just quickly put that down," Jaden said as he took everything from Sasha's hands and placed it down, "And just get some rest with kids, watch TV, maybe help them with homework or take a nap. Alright?" Sasha sighed, drying her hands before looking up at Jaden.

"I'll go ask kids if they want some desert, we could eat it while watching TV or something."

The difference between Jaden and Joseph is so big. It's obvious that Jaden really loves his kids and likes to take good care of them. He is a sucker for spending time with his kids, and everyone that knew him knew that.

He likes to cook a lot, trying different recipes a lot. He doesn't want his kids to get bored of a meal or to have same every day. Which is clear Joseph didn't care about, because only thing they ever really ate was pasta or eggs. It barely ever happened to be something different.

Living room soon filled with kids, all of them getting comfortable around the couches.

Sasha was surprised when she saw Connor laying on Sofia's shoulder and Denton taking the place next to Jaden, earning some snuggle time with Jaden.

It was shocking how fast kids grew on each other. They acted as if they were siblings. And it made Sasha's heart warm up for some reason.

"Is he heavy on you?" Sasha asked when she noticed Denton sleeping, snuggled into Jaden's chest.

Even though he was there only few times, it was enough for Denton to learn to love Jaden very much. As a five year old boy, who never got father's love, being treated so well by Jaden and having a good relationship, it made Denton see Jaden as his father quite literally. He for sure wasn't calling Jaden his dad, but he did see him that way.

He would feel so happy and loved when Jaden would play with him and Connor, when they would watch TV together or eat, when Jaden would help him get on his jacket and lace up his new shoes, especially when Jaden would hug him or even just be around him.

Jaden was the one who teached Denton to lace his shoes. Sure Sasha, Rhianna and Sofia were working on it, but Denton just didn't seem to memorize it well. But when Jaden explained to Denton how to tie the lace on his shoes, Denton seemed to memorize it very quickly.

And Jaden secretly knew that Denton probably sees him as a father, but of course he wouldn't say anything because he would never try and make them uncomfortable maybe. But he didn't mind it, he more likely adored it.

"Don't be silly." Jaden said, making Sasha smile as she looked at her little boy.

Denton had his mouth slightly opened as he was curled up in Jaden's chest. He just has moved, so his arm was no longer hugging Jaden. He had both of his hands close to his chest, while Jaden's hand was resting on his back, making Denton feel protected while he slept.

"Sasha?"
"Yeah?"
"Are you good at writing?"
"Well, nothing too special but yeah. Why?"
"Would you mind helping me with this assignment that I have? I could really use a help from someone that is a good writer." Sara and Sasha talked, making Jaden look at them.

"Is that supposed to mean I am not a good writer?" Jaden asked offended, making Sara shrug while Sasha slightly laughed, along with Rhianna that was next to them.

"Well, not that you're not good writer, but I can't have your help on this subject." Jaden acted mad, making Sara make her way to him to place a kiss on his cheek.

Jaden smiled as he watched Sasha and Sara walk over to Sara's room.

"So what do you need to write?"
"We got to choose from few subjects she gave us, and the one I chose is something where I write about my own hero, that is connected to this text here."
"Oh, okay. So I'm guessing Jaden's your hero?"
"Yeah. And I'm not too good at writing, that usually helps me. But it would be awkward if I made him basically write about him being my hero. It makes no sense."
"Yeah, I understand. Tell me why do you see him as a hero, few moments connected to it, and we'll put it up together well."
