3RD PERSON
Few days passed by since Sasha and Jaden really talked. It would always be something weird and around kids, never alone.
Which both of them kind of liked because they had enough time to think about what would they tell each other when that time comes.
Jaden:
We need to talk. Can I pick you up tonight around 8?Jaden sent the message, biting his lip hard as he sat in his work chair.
Once Sasha saw the message, her heart started beating faster. She knew what they would talk about.
Sasha:
Sure. Where will we go?Jaden felt some type of relief when he saw her message. He was scared she wouldn't even want to meet up.
Jaden:
We will just drive in my car.Sasha:
Okay, I'll see you tonight then.Jaden:
See you.Sasha rested her back against the wall in her house. She wasn't on the work today, so she had free time at home.
——
"Okay, everything is starting to cook up. That's great." Adam secretly read the messages as Jaden's phone was in his hands and he was staring down at those messages.
"Shit, you scared me."
"Okay, but do you know what you're going to tell her?"
"Yes."
"What?"
"Well, I'm not gonna tell you."
"If I was the good friend I'm not, I would take care of your kids because Connor has a strained ankle. But I'm not going to." Adam shrugged his shoulders, making Jaden groan."Oh c'mon man, Madi and Rick have some things to do, you won't need to do much. Just if he needs to toilet of something."
"No Jaden. It's not just that. That means I have to play with him, feed him if asked. I don't want that."
"Dude, you were literally taking my kids when they were babies in wheelchairs so you would find some women to hook up with. And now you can't take care of him for a hour or so?"
"Okay. Okay. But you're gonna tell your girls they will be there to play with him too. Because you know how much I don't like kids."
"You're like their uncle. How can you still say that you don't love them?"
"Well, I love them. But from distance." Jaden shook his head, continuing his work.——
"Kids, would you mind me going somewhere for like an hour tonight around 8?" Sasha asked her kids while they were eating at the dining table.
"No, of course not. Can we know where you are going?"
"I'd rather not tell you. But don't worry, if the time comes I'll tell you. If not, it won't be important."
"Yeah, okay. Don't worry. You're free now just as we are. Don't worry momma." Rhianna kissed her moms cheek, making her smile.Sure Rhianna was so interested in where her mom is going. But, Sasha was tied up her whole life in the house or work. Kids weren't going to take it away from their mom now.
Sasha was contemplating whole day what she was going to tell Jaden. Would she kiss him if it came to that point? Would she tell him that she has been growing some feelings for quite a while and they've been growing stronger every day?
The time came, and Sasha recieved a text from Jaden that he is in front of house.
Sasha said bye to her kids and made her way out of the house.
"Hi."
"Hey." Jaden looked at Sasha as she buckled her belt. He couldn't come with terms how someone could look so flawless without even trying."So, uh, where are we going?"
"I'm just gonna park car somewhere so we can peacefully talk, but we could stop somewhere for a drink or something."
"No, it's not needed."
"Alright." Jaden nodded his head, finding a parking lot where he could park his car. They sat in silence for few minutes, both of them not knowing how to start their 'talk'.
"I- I thought this would be easier to do, not even gonna lie." Jaden shook his head, making Sasha chuckle.
"What are we doing Jaden?"
"I don't know," Jaden rested his head on the back of his seat, unbuckling his seat belt, "But I know one thing, Sasha."
"What?"
"I- I'm feeling something really strong. Something that I can't just push away. I've been trying for a while, but I can't anymore. Every day it feels so stronger," He now turned his head to look at the woman that was already looking at him, "And I'm afraid I'm falling for you." Jaden confessed, his eyes even glistening a little.Sasha blinked few times, still looking at those blue ocean eyes.
"And I know it's not just me that feels this way. I know you've been in this awful marriage, and it's hard for you. But I promise if you give me a chance, you're not gonna waste time. We can see, if it doesn't work out it just means it wasn't meant to be. But it won't cost us anything to just try."
"It will cost our kids their friendship. And I don't want that."
"Sasha, they are kids. You don't think they will fight? Stop being friends for whole three hours and then be best friends again? They don't even have to know about us. Quite frankly, it would be better if they didn't know for some time.""So what are you saying?"
"I don't know, you take it how you want. But one thing I'm hundred percent sure of is that I don't think I can't just sit here in this car with as beautiful and gorgeous woman as you are after just confessing my feelings, while you are biting your lip, without kissing you." Jaden said as he leaned over console, placing his hand on Sasha's cheek."Am I allowed to kiss you?" He asked, his lips inches away from hers.
