3RD PERSON

"Oh, hey. Come in, come in." Jaden smiled at Sasha, moving aside and letting Sasha in.

"Hey."
"Come, this way. Do you wanna drink something? Coffee, tea, maybe some alcohol?"
"Uh, I could use a coffee."
"Okay then. Black?"
"Yeah, thanks."
"No problem." Sasha looked around the place until Jaden came back. House was really nice.

"So, your husband didn't come?"
"Oh, yeah, he's just doing his own stuff right now." Sasha lied. Of course she hasn't even mentioned it to Joseph.
"Well, I'm sure there will be another chance to meet him." Jaden gave Sasha a sincere smile, to which she returned the gesture. Jaden didn't know anything about their home life, which kids appreciated. Because they were scared their friends would blow them off.
"Yeah."

Two of them have gotten in a conversation while they had their coffee.

Sasha thought he was a real gentleman. He talked really polite. He was a imaginary definition of 'perfect guy'. Not in any romantic way, of course. Just the truth itself.

"Well, I think it's time for me to go. I have some stuff to do at the house before getting ready for the work." Sasha got up from the couch, polite smile forming on her face.

"Oh, well I'm glad you stopped by. You don't have to worry about your kids tonight and tomorrow, they're in safe hands. Also, where do you guys live? Maybe I could come to pick them up if your husband's not able to bring them?"
"Oh, we're just down the street. 4208."
"Oh, really? Okay then, I'm pretty sure girls already figured everything out."
"Probably." Sasha chuckled, saying bye to Jaden and climbing in her car.

——

Once Sasha got home she had to go in the shower and shaved everything just like she got instructed by Joseph.

She was only lucky that he wasn't home this morning.

She got in her car and drove to the store. She was almost late.

"Yoo, I thought you got caught up with sexy man and that you'll be late."
"Oh, no. I was in shower. Sorry."
"No, it's cool. You're not late."

Serenity and Sasha started their shift. Their afternoon shifts usually don't have that many people.

"So did you go?" Serenity asked, taking a sip of her coffee.
"Where?"
"To Jaden's?"
"Oh. I did. But shh, okay?"
"Oh my God! You gotta tell me the details." Serenity already got excited, thinking Sasha and Jaden maybe have some chemistry going between them.

"Why? Nothing really happened. We only had coffee and talked."
"Oh, I see you. You're not getting in bed on the first meeting." Serenity winked at Sasha, making Sasha internally cringe.

One thing Sasha never told Serenity is about her sex life. And what happens in their home when kids aren't there. She just couldn't bring herself to tell anyone, except her dead parents when she goes to their grave.

"No. There will not be any actions in the bed, T. I have a husband and that's just ridiculous. I don't even like that man in that way. Sure he is attractive, but I don't need anyone. Even Joseph is really really much."
"Okay, but you can't compare Joseph and him, okay?"
"And I'm pretty sure he is not really over his dead wife, especially with the ring on his finger." Sasha murmured, causing Serenity's eyes to grow wide.

"Oh woah- dead wife?"
"Yeah, he told me a little about it, but didn't dig in the details. And I didn't want to push him too much. It's none of my place to know such a thing."
"When?"
"Seven years ago. But I realized he is not over her." Sasha stated, drinking the last sip of her coffee.
"Oh damn."
"Momma!" Denton ran into the shop, his sister following behind.

"Hey babies." Sasha's lips curved into a big grin, embracing her kids in warm hugs. There was never a thing that would make her feel so happy but her kids.

"Hii."
"What's up guys?"
"Nothing much."
"You guys excited for your sleepover?" Sasha teased, poking Sofia's and Rhianna's sides.
"Yeah." Three kids smiled brightly at her. They never had friends like that. It felt really special to them.

They talked for a little, hearing about what all happened in school and what they have to study over the weekend.

"Okay guys, you should head home now. Okay? Lunch is in the oven, so it's still warm, dad is not home until 5 today, so you won't be seeing him much today, okay?"
"Oh thanks God!" Rhianna and Sofia quietly cheered, making Sasha smile.

"Eat as much as you want, and check under the mattress. Clean everything, please, just so he doesn't make the mess right before you guys go." Sasha told them as she followed them a little out of the store, placing a soft kiss on their heads, before she settled Denton back on the ground.

"Okay. We'll see you tomorrow mommy."
"Okay guys. I love you and be nice over there. Okay? And have fun."
"We will. We love you too, bye."

Sasha watched them walk happily around the street, Denton jumping around his sisters as they laughed about something. Her heart warms up at the thought her kids will finally have some fun and be free and happy. Even if it's only for one evening.

——

"Hello." Jessica walked in the shop, with a smile on her face.

"Hey."
"Ooh, hey Jess. What's up?"
"I came to tell you something."
"Okay."

Sasha walked in one of the aisles, putting stuff on shelf while she talked with Jessica.

"I'm hosting a party in two weeks. It's going to be kind of big, so I wanted you to come. I would like kids to come too, but it's not that type of party. So it's only you. Okay?" Jessica was nervous to hear Sasha's reaction. Whenever Sasha would leave the house to 'have fun' she would bring her kids with her.

"Uh, o-okay. I'm not really used to going out of house and not taking kids with me."
"I know. I know. But it will be a great opportunity for you to meet some people. Okay? You know what, Serenity?"
"Yeah?" Serenity called back, a little confused.
"You free next weekend?" Jessica asked walking through the aisle back to the cashier.

"Yeah, why?"
"Would you like to come to a party that I'm hosting? It's gonna be all kind of fancy and stuff."
"Oh, okay. Sure." Serenity shrugged. There was always a little weird tension between two of them, over the fact that Serenity's had a little affair with the guy who was also havign the affair with Jessica. Neither of them knew that he was having multiple relationships at once, so they weren't blaming each other necessarily. But tension was always in the air.

"Great. Now you have someone to come with so you don't feel bad and awkward. Great. I'm going to give you one of my dresses to wear, don't worry. It's going to be around 5 o'clock probably, I'll text you girls for more information." Jessica smiled, proud that Sasha now doesn't have an excuse to avoid the party.

"Okay."
"Okay, I had great time talking to y'all but now I'm in hurry. I'll see you soon." Jessica waved, leaving the shop. Sasha was left there with her heart pounding against her rib cage. She wasn't sure she wanted to leave kids alone with Joseph, just to have fun.
