3RD PERSON
"Hey guys, come in. Ri, you can sit in front."
"Hi, thanks for picking us up. We could've walked-"
"Oh, don't worry about it. I was somewhere in the city, so I was going to pass here anyway. Also, hope you don't mind me calling you Ri. It was accidentally, girls always use that, so I just kinda got it from them." Jaden smiled as he looked at the girl that was sitting beside him on the seat, nervously playing with two of her fingers."No, yeah, that's totally fine." Rhianna nodded her her head as they slowly approached the house where Mitchell's lived at.
"Okay, not a long ride, but it is what it is. Come on." Jaden already parked his car in front of the house before they all got out and followed him inside.
"Hi!" The girls jumped up on each other and hugged. Smile placed on Jaden's lips as he continued his way over to the kitchen.
"Let's go to the room." Phoebe said, pulling all girls with her, while Connor and Denton had already left to get some toys.
"Dad, can we go to the yard?" Connor asked, slightly tapping his dad's arm as he stood beside him in the kitchen. Jaden's gaze fell down on Connor, nodding his head with a smile.
"Of course you can, just get on your jackets."
"Okay. Can we take Astor too?"
"Yeah."Boys got on their clothes before running past Jaden with their dog beside and going through the back doors.
Jaden grabbed few drinks from the pantry and walked upstairs. After hearing the noise behind the doors of Phoebe's room, he slightly knocked.
"Come in!" Voice called behind the doors before Jaden opened it with his elbow and walked inside.
"Hey girls, I brought you some juice and soda. P, you can pour you guys. I'm starting to make dinner now. You girls like lasagna? I can make something different if you'd like." Jaden questioned, not wanting to make something that kids wouldn't like. Which, obviously, caught Rhianna and Sofia a little off guard because they never get asked if they like food they have to eat. They are just happy to eat, whatever it is.
"Yeah, lasagna is good."
"Okay then." Jaden smiled before he left the room again and walked back to the kitchen."Hey man, what's up?"
"Hey, nothing much. What are you doing tonight?" Adam's voice strolled off the phone. Jaden's lips slightly curved into a smirk before he answered."Kids are having their friends over for a sleepover."
"How many of them?" A terrified voice asked Jaden through the phone, making him laugh."There's two girls and a boy. They are all similar ages to my kids."
"Awh man, I'm so sorry." Jaden laughed, taking out some stuff from the pantry."Don't you be mean. They are really nice and get along very well." Jaden explained to his friend that strictly despised kids.
"Have a hot single mom?" Jaden rolled his eyes before looking around to see if anyone's there. Of course Adam would ask that question.
"She's married."
"Awh man, get those kids out of the house." Adam's brows slightly furrowed, disappointed. Of course he loved flirting with women, but if his friend finally decided to move on from dead wife, he was willing to let him take one. Now that he realized she is married with kids, Adam wasn't going after woman with kids, and Jaden for sure would never go after married woman."You're so awful. No question why you are alone and forty years old." Jaden's reply made Adam slightly chuckle and shrug.
"But is she hot?"
"I'd rather call her beautiful. But you know I'm not that type of man." Jaden said, again checking to see if someone is around. He wouldn't want kids, his or their friends, hearing him talking about their very much married mother.
