24: Sirius Black - Alone Part Two (Lemon)

Warning! This is part two of two, and it won't make sense unless you've read part one! This is also a lemon, so there's sexual content approaching...

House: Slytherin

 Christmas had been and gone, and seeing the way Sirius acted with Harry was heartwarming. Sirius cared so much for Harry, that much was obvious by the way he spoke about him and the many letters they sent each other so seeing them together just made me smile.

Sirius and I had grown closer until I finally realised that I harboured feelings for the man, which was terribly inconvenient given the fact I was living with him. I wasn't sure how he felt about me but he had definitely opened up to me about his past, his childhood and about the convictions that sent him to Azkaban. It seemed to me that he at least thought of me as a close friend otherwise he wouldn't of spoken about such personal things, but I hoped he saw me as more.

It was now nearing the end of gloomy January, everyone being back at Hogwarts, home or work leaving just Sirius and me at Grimmauld Place with a house-elf and a hippogriff. I had been trying to get his attention by wearing flattering clothes and doing my makeup each day, but either he was completely oblivious or he was just resisting as he showed no signs of interest which hurt. When I'd get up to my room to go to bed I'd find myself staring at my reflection in the mirror, wondering how I came to this. I'd usually be so care-free, thinking if a guy didn't like me for who I was then he wasn't worth it but with Sirius I was going out of my way to try and impress him, but nothing was working. "I'm pathetic," I muttered to myself, slipping out of the dress and tights I was wearing before clambering into bed.

The next morning I headed downstairs in my pyjamas to be pleasantly greeted with Sirius making a cooked breakfast. "Wow, what's the occasion?" I teased, him rarely being the one to make breakfast.

"You having a lie-in. It's 10:30, y'know," he said.

"I guess I needed the sleep," I shrugged, taking over from him before he burnt anything. "How many rations of bacon?"

"Three please," he said and I popped three in the pan. "Are those the pyjamas I got you for Christmas? They look cute on you."

I tried not to let my body go rigid at this unsuspected comment. After spending weeks trying to impress him in fancy dresses it was merely a pair of pyjamas patterned with dogs wearing Christmas hats that were enough for him to tell me I looked cute. "Thanks I guess," I said, trying to laugh casually. He too was just in a pair of sweatpants and a simple top, it being obvious that those were the clothes he slept in. From that point on we decided to have a bit of a pyjama day, there being nothing of importance that needed doing and no OoTP meeting to prepare for.

We had quite a lazy day: baking cupcakes, reading him one of my favourite books, me playing piano for him whilst he almost feel asleep on the chaise longue. In the evening we ended up having a couple of glasses of wine and were sat on the sofa in the drawing room, the large plate filled with cupcakes we'd made earlier sitting on the coffee table. We both had our legs up on the sofa, entangled in each others as the two of us spoke about anything that came to mind whilst eating the cupcakes and drinking the alcohol.

I couldn't help but laugh when I saw Sirius had gotten some icing around his mouth and he furrowed his eyebrows. "What?"

"You've made a mess!" I continued to laugh. "Here, let me," I etched closer to him and gently wiped his cheek with my thumb, not really aware of what I was doing. I proceeded to lick the icing off of my thumb, wondering why Sirius was staring at me with wide eyes. Suddenly he had his lips planted against mine in a passionate kiss, catching me completely off-guard and complete shock running through my body. Sirius persisted, his warm lips moving against mine until I found myself kissing back uncontrollably.
