49: James Potter - The Romance King (Lemon)

- James' POV -

I scratched my head, looking at one of the many polaroid I had of my girlfriend (y/n) (l/n). Our one year anniversary was coming up and I was desperate to do something special for her but I still hadn't decided what, and the day was only a week away. I had already promised her something special, but now I just needed to make sure I succeed in my promise.

In the background I heard Peter squeal as a loud bang sounded, it signifying that Sirius had won exploding snap. "Prongs, fancy a game? Prongs?" Sirius caught my attention and I looked up from over the polaroid. "You're obsessed with her, mate."

"I'm not obsessed," I scowled at my best friend who laughed. "I just don't know what to do for our anniversary and it's bugging me."

"Why not take her to Madam Puddifoots? Don't girls like it there?" Peter suggested but I shrugged it off.

"I want to do something original. Plus Puddifoots is too cringey," I shivered at the thought of the place.

"Why don't you take her for a moonlit walk and celebrate by getting freaky in the dark corners of the castle," Sirius winked and I felt my cheeks heat up. I hid behind the polaroid of (y/n), feeling a little embarrassed. "Prongs?"

"Yeah... I don't think we'll be doing that," I sighed.

"Doing what? A moonlit walk?" Sirius asked and I looked at him sarcastically. "Oh, you mean having sex... wait, you guys haven't had sex yet?!"

"No, we haven't," I sighed. I wanted to, badly but the last thing I wanted to do was to scare her.

"Please tell me you've at least gotten to third base," Sirius said and my silence seemed to answer his question. "Wow... you guys have almost been together and all you've done is make out? That's sad."

"Alright, I'm not a player like you, I actually wanna treat my girl with a bit of respect," I said and Peter laughed.

"Hey, that was uncalled for!"

"Sorry it's just- I've wanted to go all the way so many times but I don't know if she's interested. Whenever I think we're going to do a little more something always happens and she always has to go, leaving me to just sort myself out," I told my two friends.

"Well maybe you can make it happen this time," Sirius said and I arched an eyebrow at him. "I know usually people say that guys think with their dicks but chicks are also desperate for more, especially after a year of being together," he said so shamelessly.

"I promised her something special, I'm not just going to suggest sex to her and that's it," I said and Sirius laughed.

"You won't have to! We'll come up with a way where you can have romantic alone time together and hopefully you'll both finally get to loose your virginity!"

"You seem a little too excited about this," I chuckled and Sirius waved it off. Just then the dorm door opened and in walked Remus after his evening of prefect patrolling.

"Evening," he said, slipping off his shoes and heading straight for bed.

"Moony we're gonna need your help," Sirius said, standing and putting his hands on his hips. "Everyone's going to have to pull their efforts in order to help Prongs loose his virginity!"

"Padfoot!"

"Excuse me?" Remus said with raised eyebrows.

"Prongs and (y/n) haven't had sex yet-,"
