We walked into town and at first no one seemed to notice us but after a while more and more people started to recognize me "OH MY GOODNESS ITS LADY KANNI!" "I heard she took out a whole gang in one hit" "I wish I was strong and brave like her" I waved and looked around "wow you must be famous here" kei laughed "well duh I'm actually known throughout the domains for a lot of things one of them was just doing my job and protecting people" he kissed my cheek "oh yeah? You gonna protect me too now?" I nudged him with my shoulder "well obviously your just gonna end up running around like a chicken without a head without me" he acted insulted

"How dare you suggest such a thing I'm almost hurt" we both laughed and an elven little girl came up to me "h-hello my lady c-can you show me a magic trick?" I kneeled down "of course little one ready?" She nodded and I mixed my own fire and a bit of magic to make pink butterflies and have them dance around the girl, she was laughing and tried to catch them "ahaha! There so pretty!!" I smiled and let her catch one "thank you my lady!! Bye bye!" "Your welcome and goodbye" she took off back to her mother and I stood back up to walk with keigo

"Your not half bad with kids" I looked over at the little girl "well considering I have three younger siblings I'd say I'm kind of experienced with them" we walked around some more and I showed him the places I liked most. We bought some stuff mostly food but by the end of it I wanted him to try something else "hey you know what a tavern is?" He looked at me curiously "oh? I take it your gonna show me?" I nodded "yup just don't go too crazy"

We walked into a tavern called Sapphire and I sat us at a table "it's like a bar on earth but things are a bit different" he looked around "and by different I don't think you mean just the drinks" I smiled "not exactly" a waitress came up to us "good evening lady kanni lovely seeing you again" "wonderful to see you too melthia" she looked at kei "and who is this handsome man?" He laughed awkwardly and she smiled "ah im-" "he's my lover" practically the whole tavern went silent but I stared at melthia with my eyes glowing red "ah I see my apologies my lady I did not mean to disrespect" she bowed to me in respect "it's quite alright but please do not let it happen again I'd hate to have to be rude to my close friend in this manner"

She nodded "I understand now may I get your drinks?" Then everything went back to as it was before "of course! I'll have my usual and let's start him off with something easy" "easy? Are you underestimating me dove?" I smirked "no but I do want to make sure you don't regret starting off rough" melthia nodded "alright I'll be back soon!" She walked away and I leaned back "so what was that?" "What was what?" He rested his head on his hand on the table "she gave me a little complement and you gave her the death stare" I huffed and looked away "as much as I hate using my authority on people I don't want anyone getting any ideas..." "Awe is my babybird jealous~?"

I started to feel embarrassed "that- no! It's just- GAH I DON'T NEED TO EXPLAIN MYSELF!!" He laughed at me and melthia came back with our drinks "here you go my lady your dragons wish and a fairies delight for you sir" "thank you melthia!" She nodded her head "your welcome my lady let me know if you need anything else" I nodded and drank from my cup "fairies delight huh? Doesn't sound too bad" "well that's because fairies tend to get drunk easily so most of it is mapleberry to help balance the alcohol in it" "mapleberry?" "Yup! It's really good go on try it" he took a drink and I could tell he enjoyed it

"Well?" He had already drank half the cup "damn that's not half bad" I laughed "good! I hoped you would like it it's one of my personal favorites" he looked at my cup "what's dragons wish like?" I moved my cup away "it's really strong I'm not sure your ready for that quite yet birdie" he gave me a pouty face and I looked away "nope it's for your own good-" "too bad" he took my cup and started to drink it "HEY! WAIT NO-!" There were a few who just glanced over to us as I kept trying to get my drink from his but it was too late. He had dranken more than half of it when he put the cup down
