I suddenly got a headache even after saying that "what is it kanni?" I rubbed my temples trying to think but my mind coming up foggy "I uh...I think whoever it is..uh one moment" I shielded myself from the light of the sun that helping my headache "this person is playing with our minds taking control without warning and we won't remember how or when..." I continued to hide myself from the rest of outside world my head pounding now

"Kanni has a point if you remember what that guy said when we interrogated him while kanni was gone he said he doesn't remember saying anything of that and Carmen doesn't remember sneaking around going through kanni's old things" I heard everyone talk but I focused on my breathing

"Good thinking you figured it out sooner than those fools~"

"And why would I do that? When I can simply take you like I did them!"

I saw a faint face but it wasn't my mother or anyone I knew it looked like a person but they weren't a person "AH!" I gripped my head and I'm soon exposed to the sunlight and two worried faces "~~~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~~?" "~~~ ~~~~ ~~ ~~!" But I couldn't understand them instead I feel a tear fall down my face and next thing I know pink lights and sparkles and Cass trying to stop her is all I see before I pass out

When I wake up again I'm in a bed and Keigo is next to me "hey your awake" it takes me a bit to register what he said and I nod "in case your wondering aleta knocked you out she later told us it was because she noticed your eyes started to shift and she did the only thing she could without hurting you" "...knocking me out?" "Yup" I sigh and nuzzled into his chest he was warm but I felt the heat that would normally have you pull away the moment you came into contact

"...kei..your heating up" "oh uh...sorry I can't help it yet" I nod putting my hand on his cheek "I know and now that we know what we're possibly against things should go smoother...where are we anyway" "the capital more specificly the castle you never said there'd be a castle here" I giggle a bit and yawn

My hand ends up on my stomach as I stare I to the ceiling "at least four and half more days huh?...I wonder where we'll be" I could feel him turn his glance towards me then the ceiling "somewhere we can call home for sure" I smile he said 'we' the thought of having a family of my own made me smile but the thought of having a child scared me was I really ready? More importantly was he ready? I brush the thought aside and sit up a bit "huh? Where ya goin?" "Just the balcony wanna come?" "Uh okay" we both walked to the balcony that looked over the city and then some

It was already late into the night "I never get tired of a view like this sure you have nice ones from in the sky but normally I'm too much in a hurry to notice" the wind blew slightly and I notice two wings and a pair of arms come over me "cute how you think I'm cold" "I dunno you could be or I just wanted to hold you" I look out into the city below "hey uh this has been bothering me but I feel like not all of my memories have come back...they're just blurry but I can't even make out a single shape or face in a lot of them" his eyebrows furrowed and nodded

"Yeah me neither do you think maybe aleta can help?" I shrug "maybe ishera but I'm not sure" he hummed and I rubbed my head as it started to hurt and just leaned into him more "let's go to bed we can talk to elf queen later" I smirk at his remark "ya know I should be scolding you for disrespecting her but who am I to when I call her "her royal elfyness" " I heard him try not to laugh and we settled into bed
