I wasn't thinking I acted completely on impulse, I turned into my demon form and stepped between my father and keigo

There were red tattoos covering my arms and legs and horns similar to his growing from the top of my head. In less than a second everyone saw what had happened my father's sword pointed in the center of my face above the bridge of my nose just barely brushing it "Kanni Lynn Takashi what do you think you are doing?" "Stand down sir saerys" "DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO CHILD NOW MOVE!" "AS GUARDIAN OF THE REALMS AND HEAD ASSASSIN TO THE ROYAL COUNCIL I ORDER YOU TO STAND DOWN!" I flexed my wings and pulled out my own swords

He stared at me with pure hatred and anger "do NOT make me use force" it was silent and for some reason I was ready to kill my own father if it meant protecting him. He stood up and put his sword away and I followed but I didn't hide my demon just yet "why the hell would you attack him?" He didn't respond "TELL ME!" "Songbird- ah" my skin was too hot to touch even for him

"Kei please don't touch me I don't you to get hurt" I heard my father scoff and I slammed my hand on the table nearly breaking it "does it have something to do about me being dead?" My father's face went from pure hatred to absolute fear "I..-" "TELL ME FATHER! SOMEONE BE CLEAR AND SPEAK UP!" But no one said anything "...no one? No one will tell me why the hell it's so bad for me to be happy and have a life outside of killing people?" Still nothing "figures" and I walked out

'i need to calm down all this adrenaline isn't good my skin is almost on fire' I grit my teeth and picked up a bow and started shooting arrows 'why won't anyone talk to me why this sudden fear of my death!?'

I felt someone grab my shoulders and face me towards them "SNAP OUT OF IT! I KNOW YOUR UPSET BUT TALK TO ME WHY ACTING LIKE THIS NOW!?" red wings golden eyes and dirty blonde hair and my feather in flames tied to his neck....wait..FLAMES!? "Wh-" I blinked and grabbed keigo by the shoulders "kanni are you okay?" I immediately snatched the necklace and pushed him away almost falling in the process

"Kanni!" He grabbed my arm and pulled me back to him while my quirk still had yet to defuse and calm down "s-stop...stop stop stop STOP ILL BURN YOU!!" I struggled against him and yet he didn't let go "I DON'T GIVE A SHIT BURN ME ALL YOU WANT IM NOT LETTING YOU GO" more tears fell and eventually I managed to get my power under control and stop the flames nearly passing out

I felt heavy but I didn't let go of him "...keigo..-" "shh you fine....I'm alright too" "don't lie...please don't lie" I lightly pushed him away and sat up on the grass he had first degree burns on his arms, neck, chest and parts of his face and legs. I nearly scream at what I'd done but all that happened were tears fell "i- I'm so sorry...I should have better control kei let me get my uncle he came help-" "no" he grabbed my hand "I want you to do it" "no I've done enough damage for one day I barley have enough energy to help myself" he took my hand gently

He rubbed my knuckles and had a small weak smile "it's okay I promise but uh...I can barely move and everything hurts no one said anything about having sunscreen before hugging the sun" I laughed a bit and helped move his to the river nearby
