August slammed his hands on the table making me look up "Kanni now is not the time for games!" "You really think I would lie about something like this!? I yelled as loud as I could with tears pricking at the corners of my eyes the room was quiet and just then I realized what I said "wait you...almost killed her?" I lightly tug on him and look to the floor "we're done here I'm taking her back to our room" he helped me up and we walked out of the room. I sigh and we enter the bedroom "I think so..I'm not upset or anything just confused" "confused on what?" I brush my hair as much as I can then I start to braid it "well I dunno maybe letting your body rest like that brought back your memory completely?" He took the strand of hair and I showed him how to finish it "maybe your right hey should I put you in a coma and wake you up two weeks later?" I smirk and he shakes his head in protest "what? No if you do I'll miss the baby actually being born" he jokes and I tie off the end of the braid

I lightly smile and pull him onto the bed with me while we both laughed I brushed a few strands out of his face and behind his ear and let my hand fall to the side of his face and caress his cheek, he leaned into my touch and hummed all without looking away from me he let out a breathy sigh and moved his forehead to mine "I missed this your touch" "you talk like I've been gone months" he chuckled and kissed my lips

Then the side of my face "it felt like years I was worried I would lose you...that our child wouldn't know how amazing thier mother was that I'd be alone in this world again" he stifled a sob and I kissed his lips softly I pulled him close and stroke the back of his head and trying not to cry myself "baby don't cry of course I'm not gonna leave I mean I said that when I agreed to marry you right?" I heard him lightly gasp and then sit up so he can see me face to face

He had a look surprise and shock "wait you actually want to marry me? You weren't joking before?" I lightly scoffed and cocked an eyebrow "what? I get knocked into a coma once and then suddenly I don't believe I want to spend my life with you? Bullshit" I set my forehead on his lifting myself up on my elbow "I want us together kei...do you?" I wrapped my arms around his neck and kiss him back, it felt as if time itself had stopped like this meaningless war didn't exist like we were back home in our bed just being with each other after a long day of work "hah...hah.." once we separated a string of saliva was the only evidence of what happened "kei" "hm?"
