"Hmmn.." I feel warm

For the first time since I can remember I feel warm. I can hear birds chirping the steady moving river the wind blowing through the leaves in the trees...

And another's but much smaller "hnng..ugh my head" I roll to my side and rub my head but not before someone's hold on me tightens "hmmnno don't go babybird" that voice...I know that voice and his scent, I look over my shoulder and see an ash blonde winged man "k...keigo..?" I stare at him as he rubs his nose in the back of my shirt "hmm five more minutes babe" "keigo. Wake up"

He opens one eye half-liddedly looking up at me and blink a few times before his eyes shoot wide open "KANNI YOU'RE AWAKE!! HOLY FUCK YOU'RE AWAKE!!" I wince at the sudden loudness but nod anyway "yes baby I'm awake now" his eyes quickly well up in tears and next thing I know he's sobbing into my chest holding me so tightly

"I- *hic* I THOUGHT- *sob* I thought I'd never hear *hic* *sob* your beautiful voice again!...*ugly sobbing*" my sight is quickly blurred with tears as I hold him close and kiss the top of his head repeatedly "I'm here kei I'm here im not going anywhere ever again *hic* I promise" we hug each other tightly and stay there for a few minutes exchanging deep passionate kisses and words of love

Before something clicks in my head "THE EGG!! WHERE ARE THEY!? WHERE'S MY BABY!? THEY DIDN'T HATCH YET DID THEY? DID I MISS IT NO NO NO I COULDN'T HAVE MY BABY!!!" I quickly get up and frantically wander around the room my legs soon feeling sore making me wobble "babybird it's okay you didn't miss them hatching and they're perfectly fine" I turn to him and nod finally noticing his long hair "kei.." "yes dove?" I reach for his hair

"Your hair is so long now...how long was I out?" His smile quickly fades as he grabs my hand and kisses my palm "I waited for two weeks and nearly four days" my heart drops when I hear his words and I sob in his chest "oh baby...I'm so sorry! I'm so very very sorry!!" "Hey hey don't apologize babybird..look" he gently holds my chin up so I'm looking at him "you're here now we both are and that's what matters" I nod and hug him

My body feeling sore and tired now but being in bed for that long, I need to stretch my muscles "let's go see our soon-to-be-here baby hmn?" "Heh yeah let's go" he hands me a robe and holds my arm to help keep me from falling as we walk to the nursery wing of the palace "where are we?" "Elven Domain" "for how long?" "Three days now" "my parents and siblings?" We walk in and I quickly limp over to where the red and black egg was "they've gotten so much bigger kei!" "Yeah they have" I smile and I run my thumb softly on top of the shell "hi baby I'm mommy I'm sure you figured out that big birdbrain behind me is your daddy hm? Hehe!" I feel my lovers arms wrap behind me and he places his chin in my shoulder "hey I'm not the only birdbrain in the room ya know there's two others" I gasp pretending to be offended "how dare you?
