𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐋, 𝐓𝐖𝐎 𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓 friends were at back street, one they were supposed to be walking through to get to their respective homes. But they were held up by the number one hero, who didn't look like the posters and pictures posted up verywhere. He spoke about inheriting a Quirk, which had never been heard before, because it was seemingly impossible. Well, it was supposed to be, but not in this case.
"I don't understand." Izuku now stood again, stilling holding tightly to you. Not bec he needed support, but simply because he wanted to. "What do you mean 'inherit?' Inherit what?"
That, for some reason you were unsure of, had All Might burst into a fit of laughter. "You should see your face right now!" The two of you side eyed each other before looking back at the man, who went serious again. "Don't worry, I'm not going to force this on you. That would be weird and concerning."
"I'm glad you are aware." You said and pressed your lips in a thin line. This entire thing was weird. A large, sickly looking man, who posed as a giant hero, was talking to middle schoolers in the back of streets. To anyone who might see this, it would look very bad on his end.
"Listen well, young man. This is your choice." All Might pointed his hiny finger at Izuku, but stopped to cover his mouth as he coughed up blood. You gave a disgusted look. "Do you want to accept my awesome power or not?"
"That wording shows how old you are." You said with a straight face, and All Might had a look of hurt. But we're you lying? The way he said it sounded like he was trying to fit in with the 'young and hip' kids.
"There are a few things you should know about my abilities." All Might added, wiping the blood from the corners of his mouth. You gave another disgusted look. "Journalist always guess my power is super strength or some kinda invulnerability. When people ask in interviews, I always make a joke and dodge the question.
"That's because the world needs to think they're Symbol of Peace is just a natural born hero like any of them. But I'm not." That made you raise your brows curiously, watching the man stretch his arms out. "There's nothing natural about my ability. I wasn't born with this power. It was a secrets torch passed onto me."
"Someone gave you this quirk?" Izuku questioned, and when his idol nodded his head, his eyes widen and shock covered his expression. "No way..." Then, his expression paused. "Wait, then why did you say I couldn't be a hero without a Quirk, when you use to be Quirkless?"
