𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐒 𝐒𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐋𝐘 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍. The light of the sun immediately hits your frame, having you immediately close them. You reopened your eyes and blinked repeatedly to adjust to the sunlight before you stared up at a familiar ceiling. Despite the closed blinds, the sun still lit up room you was familiar with being your old room before you moved in UA. The curtains were open, letting you know it was morning.

In a attempt to sit up, you were hit with an unpleasant feeling of pain in your head. It felt as though someone had bashed your head into a wall or something familiar. You had to lay your head back down onto your satin pillows, which protected your curls. You brought your fingers to rub the temples of your head in hopes it would soothe your migraine.

You tried to remember the events of your time in Johannesburg in hopes of understanding the soreness you felt from your stomach. But, thinking too hard caused the pain to intensify. So, you decided it was best to take some painkillers and worry about it later, when it didn't hurt to worry about.

Slowly, in attempt to not worsen your migraine, you got up from your bed and slipped on your slippers. You grapped, your head wrapped around your from your dresser and wrapped your hair up. It took you a minute to find the painkillers, but you found them in one of your drawers. Usually it was on top of your dresser, but you figured your younger sister had took it whenever her cramps became too much or something.

After grabbing the bottle, you headed downstairs to get something to drink with it. When you went downstairs, you were first met with your little sister sitting in the living room. The sound of your footsteps caught her ears and she turned her attention to you, and smiled.

"Oh, you're awake." Amara, your little sister, exclaimed as she got up and walked over to you. She noticed the bottle of painkillers in your hand and raised her eyebrows. "Geez, how stressful was that case? When you got home, you were knocked out. Rufaro had to carry you to your room."

"Cousin Samira went missing. That was very stressful." You responded in short as you headed to the kitchen, where you were met with both Shinso and Rufaro eating cereal together while sitting in the Island counter chairs. Then you thought for a moment, where's Miyori?

"Oh yeah, I heard about that from Rufaro. She was running away the whole time? I had a feeling. She's too smart to get kidnapped. Annoying, but smart. How is she doing, by the way?" Leave it to Amara to talk your ear off as she has done her entire eleven years of living.

"She's fine, she's just having a fight with her parents about them being controlling and stuff. But she has a boyfriend, and she's doing well in college. So, she'll be fine." You responded as you searched for a water bottle on the fridge.
