𝐈𝐓 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐄 down to this. Months of torment and planning came down to this. Months of mental stress came down to this. Months of lying, even if for the better, came down to this. Months of tears and physical strain came down to this. Months of training and suffering came down to this. Months of self doubt and perseverance came down to this. Months of chances to back down but choosing to go through it in the end came down to this. Months of preparation, pressure and anxiety came down to this. Months of new knowledge, information and experience came down to this. And what is this? War.
The war that had been building up for months, was officially brewing. It was silently building up but it had now officially arise. And Class 2-A and B were now split up in different sections of it, on the front lines, sent to help with evacuation. Calm before the storm, some saw it as. A Quiet Beginning, would perhaps be a better fitting. It did indeed start off quiet, soft and for some, almost gleeful. The thrill was simmering, the adrenaline would soon follow.
Each student of Class A and B had a specific unit they were assigned to. Everyone had gotten in position waiting, all but one. There was supposed to be someone, a year girl older than the rest, with heroes at the war ground waiting for the cue for said war to start, as well as the evacuation for it. But when it came down to it, she was no where to be seen or found.
"Where is she?" Uraraka's voice held an anxious sound of concern in it as she looked around, like she had been doing for the last few minutes. "She shouldn't be taking this long. Maybe she got held up or something? Or..."
"Let's just give her time. There's no room for panic." Said Iida, masking his own concern with a firm tone. "I'm sure she's fine, she can handle herself. Don't think negatively."
"She's never late, and she wouldn't be at a time like this." Todoroki spoke logically. "We all know she's a primary target for Shigaraki. We do have to consider other possibilities. Such as, someone might've went for her or—"
"No." Uraraka quickly cut him off and shook her head. "Don't think of anything bad. Iida's right, we all know she can handle herself. Even if someone did go after her, we know she's going to fight. She's probably on her way now and just got held up. So let's just think happy thoughts. Okay? Happy thoughts."
As the conversation of worry regarding the whereabouts of their missing classmates flowed, there were two who said nothing. Izuku and Bakugo were quiet, but for different reasons. Izuku's silence was out of worry for the girl he loved, listening to the words his friends said and taking them all into consideration, amplifying his worry. However, Bakugo's was out of possibility, having some semblance of knowledge to the lack of appearance. Or rather, he was unsurprised by it but also feared what it meant.
