Book Four: Asha

I am Asha Khoisan, but the world will know me as Asha Odili. Several years ago, I was the princess of the most powerful coven in the world, the Khoisan Coven. The daughter of the Nature's Enchantress, Queen Shari, and the Sharp Edged Soldier, Atu. I am the Dimond Tear of the Khoisan Coven. And knowing my siblings the probably said the same thing, that they did for love. That is true. But as the altruist of my family, I truly had no other choice but to do it for love.

There is an order to the book you read, if you have not read the others, shame on you. I refuse to recap, as empathetic of a person as I am compared to my other siblings, I am not naive or less intelligent. You should have read in order, if you have not, then that is your fault. I will not explain anything that has already been stated. I will simply continue.

My siblings and I split up. Kamaria in South Africa, Hasani in Brazil, and I am in Japan. It was midnight when I arrived here, it took four weeks. As I walked through the night, in place of a temporary shelter, I noticed the beautiful landscape. Like I read and heard, Japan was truly beautiful. It's unfortunate that I'm here under poor circumstances.

For the night, I stayed at a ryokan, which is a hotel or 'inn' in Japanese. I did not enjoy the look I receive when I arrived, or the things they said before they realized I spoke the language. But to the best of my ability, I ignored and let myself rest for the night.

The next morning I went searching for a home that would meet my needs, assuming I would be here for the next few years. I spent the day in search, and as the sun was setting to let the moon take the lead, I stumbled upon a hill. It was beautiful, a large amount of land that was one with nature. It reminded me of how I grew in Khwe Village. So, I bought the land.

In the months that the home I wanted was being built, I let myself grow familiar with my new surroundings. My task was similar to that of my older brother's, invade. I would become a 'Hero' and climb my way up to the top till I get the information that I need, and find a way to shut it down.

There was one big problem with all of this. I was a black African woman in a foreign country that did not respect people with skin like mine, especially as dark. I was too old to join a school for heroism, me being twenty. Not that I could join if I were younger anyway. You had to be of Japanese blood to attend a hero course in schools, and I am anything but asian. This was an interesting policy, seeing as heroism wouldn't even exist without my family, but I digress.

Like my mother, I had begun training myself in nature. It was harder to do alone, but the letters from my siblings kept me motivated and encouraged. The letters from my mother reminded me why I was even doing this to begin with. My twin brother, Hasani, had to do a lot of fighting for his mission so he gave me pointers in his letters. And my older sister gave me the advice to meditate. They were really helpful.
