"I love you..." You whispered and leaned close, pressing a soft kiss to his lips. It caught him by surprise, but he quickly kissed back. It was supposed to be a sweet...
𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐀𝐆𝐎, when your grandmother, Iyoni Patterson passed away, your mother inherited money from her, as well as her children, which was put in a savings till you were of age. That money is what helped my mother move into the nice two story home you live in now, and have for the past almost seven years. Before then, you used to live in the same apartment complex as the Midoriyas. Still, despite moving into a bigger house and then standing in the same apartments, you lived around a fifteen minute walk away.
Currently, you walked up to the front door of the Midoriya residence, after driving there. After your older brother met your great grandmother, you both went home to drop off your things, which is when your mother told you she had an announcement later. She wouldn't tell you until a certain time, but you assume it's important because of the dinner she's making. While waiting, you decided to see your best friend, like you said you would.
After asking Inko Midoriya, the mother and single parent of Izuku, if he was home yet from the hospital, who told you he was on the way back, you left to visit. You adored his mother, she was the sweetest woman, and she was close friends with your mother.
Her and your mother had always been close, maybe it was because they both were done wrong by their husbands, had divorces and were left with children to take care of. But they were very close, best friends even, they hung out all the time. It was your mother who taught her more about Black culture, your mother and Izuku's aunts and grandmother on his father's side. Unlike Izuku's father, his father's family were active in his life. He visited them when he had a chance, and they talked a lot.
All besides the point right now. It didn't take longer than a few seconds for Inko to open the door after you knocked. She smiled when she saw your face, opening the door wide. "(y/n), dear. Why didn't you use your key?"
"Nice to see you. Sorry, I left my key at home." You replied with a smile of your own and giving her a familiar hug before taking your shoes off once you walked inside the home. It was cozy and warm, as always. "Is Izuku home yet?"
"Not yet, I'm afraid." Inko answered and made her way towards the kitchen. She was preparing dinner for her and Izuku. "But he should be here very soon, last I checked."
"That's okay, I wanted to talk to you anyways." You followed the woman in the kitchen and leaned on the counter. "So, my mom's dating someone, right? You can tell me if she is, I already have a suspicion. This would be co confirmation."
