𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀 class representative, time had passed through class, and eventually it was Class A's lunch break. Maybe it's cliche, but lunch break was your favorite part of the day. Not just because of the food, although that was as half of the reason. It was also break it was a break, only thirty minutes apart from hours, but it was a break nonetheless. Time to eat, listen to music, clear your thoughts, relax a little, and maybe even make friends. You didn't plan to make friends, but major things that happen to you usually aren't planned, so who knows.
As of currently, you sat at a table by yourself listening to music and reading a book. You had finished the lunch you prepared the day prior, and enjoyed your interracial romance book. You couldn't say with Izuku, and of course he did lead you to him, but you chose not to. Not only did you want sometime to yourself, but you wanted Izuku to build a life outside of you. You had been his only friend for years, now he could make more and work on his confidence and social skills.
You didn't need to work said skills. You were confident in yourself, even when quiet, and you knew how to speak to people, you just didn't. Someone once described you as a 'introvert with extrovert tendencies.' That was a perfect description in your opinion, especially since you were naturally a leader. It's not that you couldn't be more outgoing and talk more, you just didn't want to. You like the quiet, you're comfortable with yourself, you didn't need someone to give you a purpose or make you feel fulfilled. You could feel that alone.
So, for lunch, you sat by yourself listening to music and reading a romance book. Or at least, that was the plan until three girls from your class approached you together. Mina, Jiro and Uraraka. When you paused your music and set your head phones down, the girls sat down with you at the once empty table.
"(y/n), this is Mina and Jiro." Uraraka gave you what you assumed was her usual bright smile as she introduced the two girl, who gave you their own smiles. "They were interested in you, and you three share similar interests, music. So, I thought maybe you could be friends, if that's okay with you."
The girl with brown skin and coily pink hair introduced herself. You saw bracelets and charms, one of which with her culture's colors. "Mina Ashido, but you can call me by my first name, Mina." In Japan, you adress everyone by their last names unless you have a close bond with a person or related to them. Or for foreigners or Japanese immigrants in foreign countries, first names is a personal preference.
The girl with chin-length purple hair introduced herself next. "I'm Kyoka Jiro, you can call me Jiro." You noticed the headphones around her neck, and the dark colored charm bracelets on her arms.
