"I love you..." You whispered and leaned close, pressing a soft kiss to his lips. It caught him by surprise, but he quickly kissed back. It was supposed to be a sweet...
𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐈𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐗. There are many components of love, there are many stages. But one of the most important factors, is intimacy. The embodied presence. Listening to not just the words, but hearing the meaning. Having more than a deep conversation, understanding the depth and emphasizing that conversation. Feeling the other while being with the other. Equal transparency, honesty and vulnerability. The safety of being all that, and being safe.
Intimacy is being fully held, fully seen, fully heard and understood. It's courage. It takes courage. Courage to let that guard down, the protection-shield that kept you safe for so long. To let someone else have a look, you let them step in, and you hand them your mind, heart, body and soul, and you trust them with it. And you can. You can trust them.
Because they have the courage to look at it. They take the time, and make the effort to understand your wounds. Where you come from, and where you now are. They thank you, for sharing, for having courage, and the trust, and they'll treat that information, and your open heart, and soul confidentiality, gently. And you thank them, and you trust them, for doing so. For taking the time to listen and understand.
And that is intimacy. Courage, vulnerability, understanding, safety, trust and mutuality.
The next day, after their wedding, Niari and Aizawa left for their honeymoon. As previously mentioned, Niari planned the wedding while Aizawa planned the honeymoon. So, for the next two weeks, the newly wedded couple would be enjoying themselves in Zermatt Switzerland. A magical place during the winter.
While they were gone, their children would mostly be at home enjoying their winter break. You pretty much slept for the entirety of each day since your parents left. You had more hours asleep than you did awake, you weren't sure if it was concerning or not but you seemed to have been lacking those hours during school.
However, on this snowy day, you went over to your boyfriend's house to cozy up to him. Or at least, that's what your boyfriend thought. But you spent majority of the day knitting and gossiping with his mother, Inko, while binge watching the show 'Scandal.' He couldn't be upset though, the show got him hooked and he ended up watching it, too. Inko mentioned how you reminded her of Olivia Pope sometimes. You didn't see it.
"Wait, so Quinn isn't really Quinn, but Olivia knew that because she gave her the new identity?" Izuku questioned as he watched the show. All of you were on the last episode of season one, and Izuku was fully fixated on the TV Series. "There's no way Billy told everyone he was with Amanda and Fitz took advantage of her. That man is psycho."
