Chapter 9- Request
Sawabe Tsubaki's P.O.V
"OI!!! TSUBAKI!!!"
No matter how noisy they are, My focus is only on him.
This can't be. I shouldn't have left them all alone yesterday, and didn't attend my practice. I wonder what happened yesterday after we left them.
"OI! TSUBAKI!!!" I suddenly felt someone cracking my neck.
"OUOUCH!!! S-STOP IT!!!"
It is was my bestfriend, Nao-chan
"There you go again, you Baka..."
She grabbed me by my shoulders.
"Come on, let's talk here on the bench, not in the middle of the stadium."
"OU!!! COULD YOU PLEASE JUST PUT ME DOWN, AND I HAVE MY BARE-FEET?!"
"Be honest with me. Are you thinking about him again?"
"N-NO, I-I'M NOT!!!" She just gave me a WTH face.
"Tsubaki, do you think i'm stupid enough not to know your feelings? I'm your Bestfriend since we we're in middle school, now tell me, what's the matter, with him and you?" Nao-chan asked me consciously.
I sighed. I guess this leaves me no choice.
"You see. I left him alone with our new friend yesterday, and I can't stop thinking about it. Do you think, i'm bad to Kousei that i became so jealous to our new friend? Is there something wrong with me, Nao-chan?" I asked curious to myself.
"Tsubaki, it's totally normal to be jealous with someone who has a mutual relationship with the ones you love..."
"You mean.... It's normal?"
She nodded.
"But... Remember to avoid selfish and one-sided thoughts, because it may lead to a serious conflict, not only to your relationship, but also to yourself... Love is about the right freedom..."
Now I get it... I personally think that i'm conscious of my selfishness... I don't want to be called selfish anyway, because I love Kousei...
"Thank-"
"STOOP!!!" She didn't let me finish my line...
"Don't thank me. Thank my precious BL." And then she gave me an 'IYKWIM' face.
Arima Kousei's P.O.V.
This afternoon, I went to the mansion, to have a practice. We're not even in the middle of the song, and we have 1 month to go, before the school festival.
I went in, and just like before, the maids and butlers greeted me.
i also greeted, and headed to the music hall.
i slowly opened the big, white door, and I saw someone playing the harp. it was a wonderful sound.
when I sneaked in, it was a boy of my age, the sound of his harp was tingling in my ears. he stopped when he saw me enter. "AAH! GOMENASAI FOR INTERRUPTING!!!"
"No, it's okay. The truth is, i've been waiting for you." He stood up, and walked towards me. "Arima Kousei, isn't it?"
"Uh.H-hai." As he get closer, it's making me more nervous, as if he's suspicious to me. "Imaroshi Kagero, i'm very pleased to meet you..." He replied and gave a friendly hand.So he is the brother of Kuroma-san.
I blankly stared at it at a moment. "Aah, s-sumimasen. Nice to meet you Imaroshi Kagero-san." I grabbed his hand.
"Just call me Kagero. Now if you will excuse me, i have some businesses to attend to." He continued walking towards me, and then he stopped when he was already beyond my position.
"But remember this. I don't trust you that much. That's why, i won't let Haruka end up being with you or anything. So i suggest to get away from her."
I widened my eyes when he said his final words. He left me completely paralyzed when I heard the door shut.
Is he. mad at me? Did I do something wrong?
I looked at the door and I found Kuroma-san rapidly opening the door... She closed it, looking exhausted...
"Kousei-san! Did something happen?" She asked me worriedly...
"Ooh... Not at all..."
"Thank goodness..." I gave her a fake, and convincing smile...
"Anyways, let's start as soon as possible..." She sat down her chair, while i sat down the piano chair... And just like before, i can't fight over my curiosity in asking about their family...
"Kuroma-san..."
"Let me guess, you're going to ask about onii-chan?"
"Um... Hai... I was just wondering... Is he also a musician?"
"Yes he is... He took an accompanist's course..."
"So he's an accompanist...." I thought...
"He plays any instruments that are for accompaniment, just like the piano, harp, or cello..." She shifted her eyes...
"Actually, i never thought that he wanted to be an accompanist... He abandoned his dream for it...."
"What dream?" I asked curiously...
"A conductor..."
So that was his dream...
"Back when I was a child, we used to talk about our dreams, and he once told me that he had always wanted the sound of an orchestra... But that changed one day because of one thing, leading him to be an accompanist...."
She posted for a while...
"I'm sorry for asking too much questions..." I apologized after that..
"It's okay... But there is only one thing that i will say to you..."
She looked at me with sincerity...
"Kousei-san... You will always be leaving an important role in our lives... That's why, i'm allowing you to know us little by little... You are a very wonderful person..."
"I don't know what to say or what to feel... But... Thank you anyway..."
~~~~~"""""~~~~~
Our practice was finally over... I went out of the hall, and walked...
In the mid-way, I saw Misaki-san, running towards me...
"ARIMA-SAAN!!!"
"Misaki-san..."
She held her slightly bended knees, and breathed...
"Ano... Before you go, I would like to have some sort of request to you..."
"Um, what's that request?"
"You see..... Wanted to invite you for a friendly date this weekend..."
I blushed.... Why all of a sudden?!
"Don't worry because it's only a friendly date... Nothing really special... I just wanted to discuss about important matters..."
I mentally slapped myself... Demn, i'm such a stupid person...
"Is that so? W-well, i think i'm free this coming weekend so... Um.... Yeah..."
"Really? Thank you very much, Arima-san!" She bowed Infront of me...
"I'll be going now..." And then she went back...
I wonder what kind of weekend I will be having again?
