Chapter 17- Meaning
I took the taxi cab on my way home. It's still 6:30 so I still have time to have breakfast and approach Tsubaki. I'm pretty sure that she's mad as hell now that i arrived in the morning.
I gave the money to the taxi driver and I quickly went out of the taxi. I looked up the window and I saw Tsubaki's lights on. Was she up all night? But that's not important, I need to go up now. I grabbed my keys and opened the front door. I removed my black shoes which is quite dirty when I ran out and I clumsily went up the stairs. Opening the door in my piano room, I saw Tsubaki sleeping by her window.
She woke up after I forcefully opened my door. Oops, wrong move.
"Kousei? KOUSEI!!!"
"T-Tsubaki!"
"Where have you been? I've been trying to reach you all night! Do you have any idea how much i'm worried about you? even Watari and Seto-san started panicking when they learned that you're not home at 12 midnight! Now answer me!"
"Uuh, ano, eto..." When I was about to explain everything, there was no one inside her room anymore and I suddenly heard wild footsteps on the stairs inside her house. Aww man, she's coming to scold me like a child again. So this is how i'm tortured every time Tsubaki's mad.

Ever Since That dream that I had in the mansion last night, I couldn't help but to wander around or get paralyzed during classes. It's my first time having a dream that I could still remember what happened. I met my mother in a blank place telling me the truth about my father and our past. She also told me something about a person that God will be returning? I already forgot my answer in that in line, though I don't really believe it since it's just a dream. After All, there's no certain scientific explanation where a night dream would come true just like that.
Or maybe. Not?
"Arima."
Meh, i think it's better if I forget about this silly mere dream that would never happen in real life.
"MR. ARIMA!" After thinking about that dream this whole hour, my teacher finally called for my attention in class.
"H-HAI!" I stood up and made an expression like I didn't hear a single word that he said. Well, that's probably true. Sometimes, I can't blame myself for being not-so- good at hiding feelings or thoughts.
"It's obvious that you're not paying attention. If you continue this, I will give you some individual extra tests for not listening, is that clear, Mr. Arima?"
"H-hai, sumimasen."
"Now, i'll repeat it for you, What do you call the certain theory stating that language started from the sounds of nature?"
"Um, Bow-Wow Theory, sensei."
"Impressive. Well, I guess I will not be needing an individual Extra test for you. You may now sit down."
"Thank you, sensei." And I sat down. Even if I was already called by my teacher, that dream last night was still stuck in my brain. Come on, Kousei, forget about it, that's not true, and will never be true.
~~~~~"""""~~~~~
It was 4 in the afternoon when my phone vibrated inside my pocket. This must be Tsubaki since she said last morning that she'll call to check me because of what i've done.
"Moshi-moshi?"
"So, where are you now, Kousei?" She directly asked me not even bothered saying 'hello'.
