Chapter 13- Left Behind...

"Arima-san, ojou-sama is asking you to go with me in the backyard garden." The maid welcomed me inside the mansion with a favor of Kuroma-san.

"Please take me there." I replied and she began walking while I followed. We passed below the Stairs and there was an open brown door that is exactly aligned with the grand stairs. She opened the two doors and a flash of light is what I saw making the whole garden like a mere paradise surrounded by flowers and butterflies. It was my first time seeing a garden this beautiful. There was a small fountain with a statue of cupid with his arch and an english cottage behind the fountain made of cement with a classic structure making it look like it was from an ancient period. Kuroma-san was sitting inside the cottage with a cup of tea and some sheets with her.

The maid bowed to be before living and I thanked her. I walked through the cottage to see Kuroma-san.

"You're here, have a seat, Arima-san."

"Thanks." I sat Infront of her putting down my bag beside me.

"So, what are we doing here?" I asked her as I looked around the attractive garden.

"Well, Onii-chan and Onee-chan is currently practicing in the music hall for her next competition, so we can't use the hall today. Instead, I would like you to relax here, then let's have a walk. Onii-chan told me that they will be practicing until 6 so, let's just wait for a while." Another thought popped out of my mind.

"So, Kagero-san is helping Misaki-san for her violin contest?"

"Yes. He's her accompanist for all competitions. I have no complains about it since they sounded really good together. Onii-chan is also improving his accompaniment skills with it."

'Benefits, huh?' I mumbled myself. So Kagero-san was her accompanist before I became her accompanist in that competition last time. Is that the reason why Kagero-san was mad at me?

Wait, no. That's a really non-sense reason. If that's not it, then what is it? But right now that's not my mind is being worried about. I feel really strange when I learned that they work together for a competition. Am i...

Jealous?

Wait what? I'm jealous of her own brother? Silly me.

I suddenly bursted into laughter when Kuroma-san glared at me while she was writing on her sheet.

"Oow, s-sori for interrupting. I-I just remembered something funny."

"Oow really? Tell me about it." I started sweating. Somehow, she's really good in reading persons

"Well, when I was a child, I slipped in a banana peel and I accidentally hit a palm tree." LIES LIES. YEAH, THAT'S A LIE. A VERY DUMB LIE. But I made sure that Kuroma-san won't be reading my real thoughts.

"I see, well that was funny and a bit dumb." Phew.

"Anyway, Is it okay if I just continue it at home? Since I have nothing to do here now, I'll be going early so that I could work with it." I stood up and she suddenly pulled off my sleeves causing me to stop. But what's really suspicious about her is her expression. She became a bit tense looking for words to say. "W-wait, do not go yet!"

"Why not?" I gave her a blank expression.

"B-because. I prepared some snacks for you. It would be quite a waste if you go early." She smiled making her statement convincing enough.
