Chapter 25- I lied (Flashback #2)
3rd Person's P.O.V.
The two siblings entered the room and had a conversation with the doctor and the nurse. what a great timing.
slowly, She blinked, and opened my eyes like a new born baby. She groaned heavily, gaining full-attention from people inside the room. "She's finally awake, sr. and ms. Imaroshi." The doctor said with a bit of his excitement. She stood up holding her forehead while the Nurse came to assist her. As she does so, the siblings went near the single bed to confront her.
"How do you feel, ms. Miyazono?" the nurse asked. "She said how you feel, Miyazono-san." The girl-sibling translated it for her.
With her eyes half-closed, she pondered "M-miyazono?"
The doctor had his eyes wide-open, shocked by the familiar condition of the patient. 'This can't be real.' He thought.
"Is there anything wrong, doc?" The brunette boy asked whose standing beside his sibling. "This is bad." He commented.
"Uuh, ms. Imaroshi, could you ask Miyazono-san if she can remember her memories?" The nurse said to the brunette girl. "Wait why? What's wrong?" She Demanded.
"We'll tell it as soon as we get her answer from my question. I'm sorry, but this might be a serious condition for her." The nurse tried to reply calmly. With that, the girl at least knew that something's not right so she didn't hesitate to ask Kaori.
"Uhm, Miyazono-san, the nurse is trying to ask if you remember any of your memories?" They went on a silence, eager to hear her response. She blinked and gave the girl a confused expression which gave the idea.
"I'm sorry, but I don't seem to remember anything. Not even my own name nor where I came from." She replied unconsciously. The nurse was able to read what she said because of the shocked expressions of the two siblings. Now everybody felt bad and worried as she tells so. Except for doc who happened to know that this might happen right from the start. He sighed deeply before giving the two siblings a feedback.
"I am terribly sorry, sr. and ms. Imaroshi. But for now, ms. Miyazono lost all her memories due to her severe bone cancer. This state is well-known as an Amnesia, if you're familiar with it, wherein the cerebrum or the center part of the brain would reset her past memories."
"Amnesia? How the hell?! What does it have to do with a bone cancer? It doesn't make any sense to me!" The brunette girl demandingly replied with anguish.
"You see, the bone cancer can affect other organs of the body attached on the skeletal system depending on the probability and capacity of a individual. And I could say that the nervous system is one of the most affected parts which led her so a so-called Amnesia." The girl was still frozen, confused of what's happening. This is not the way she planned it. They thought things would turn out perfectly.
"Alright guys, i'll be back within an hour. There's a patient waiting for me in the ICU, so this is quite urgent. For the mean time, i will allow you to stay here and monitor the patient. Is that okay?"
"Yes, doc." The doctor with his nurse left the two siblings.
"Uuh, can I ask if my name really is Miyazono? I don't think that's my name before." Kaori scratched her head, pondering which gave the brunette boy an idea.
