Chapter 16- Dreams that're true...

Arima Kousei's P.O.V.

It was dark. Literally all-black.

I thought the darkness were real but when I opened my eyes, I realized that I was sleeping all along. What kind of dream did I have anyway?

The second thing I knew was that the background of my vision was all white. I tried to look around but there was nothing but blank. Everything was clear white except for the casting shadow of me on the white ground.

Where am I? This place is really weird. I stood up and I tried to look around. It seems that there are many fogs on a distant view but still all-white. This is a dream.

I tried to slap myself several times, but My real self doesn't wake up in this dream. I sighed. So i'll just wait for me to wake up, and then i'm free with this trap-like dream.

"Come here, Kousei." I feminine voice was heard in a distant. But that's not only it. It sounded familiar. A voice that is always been heard by my ears.

"Oka...san?" Fogs disappeared as my vision saw her face. I only stared as she went nearer. She stopped walking when we were only meters apart.

"It's been a while son." I've always thought that my mother has always been abusive to me ever since she got hospitalized. But in this dream, a different kind of mother is what I saw. A smiling, kind and loving mother.

"You really grow up so fast, don't you think? And now, you remind me of your father." My father. Why do I always hear about my father these days?

"Oka-san... About my father..."

"What is it, son?" I posted for a while. Even if this is just a dream, maybe this is a perfect chance for me to know my father since my mother's already infront of me waiting for me to speak.

"Please, tell me more about my father, oka-san. His name, his age. His work, how did you met and everything."

"I'm really sorry, Kousei, but I can't tell everything to you, just a bit. But first, let us sit down for a while." I did what she said so. I sat down beside her and the story began.

"You know son, Your father and I met on a Piano competition. We accidentally bumped each other that time. But when I glanced at him, I knew it was fate that me met each other. Love at first sight, I guess? And he told me once that he was in love with my music."

"Really? It looks like a pretty good love story." She chuckled. Right, i know it was a corny one.

"Everything looked like a fairytale of Cinderella and Snow White. But not for long. Because everyone disapproves our relationship. Everyone tried to thorn us apart. Everyone tried to destroy our dreams, and I guess those were all a Success. While me and your father have nothing to do."

"Sounds really. Tragic."

"But then, one day, I learned that our love for each other bear a good fruit. But I really have no choice son. I have to hide you from him, or else, everyone will be separating us again and i'm really afraid that you may also be affected."

I clenched my fist. "Is that the reason why you hide me from him? Why I can't see him from the day I was born?" She nodded softly. Atleast now I understand. Everything seems clear.

"I will let you understand more son. But words will not come from me."

"To whom then?" It took her a moment to reply.
