The buildings in Mantis Hive are systematic and uncluttered, which is of use to the dragons that labor away to support the Pantalan kingdom, even in seemingly trivial ways. Panels with event and jobs are thrown around the streets, plenty of them completely empty. Near the center of the Hive, Mantis's Chateau towers over the residence, and Pantalans hasten in the corridors of the wooden edifice.
Mantis Hive has many scholars. It has the highest median IQ among any Pantalan community, and many claim that they can beat a NightWing in a match of brilliance. It has the second greatest book repository in the entirety of Pantala, Praying Library. Over 500 dragons hold a job in it.
