The Talons of Power are the complete opposite of the Outclaws. The two dragons who led it, Vulture and Cobra, were unfathomably greedy, and this group was a way to gain unbelievable amounts of wealth. Most dragons in it are dedicated to theft, but some are dedicated to murder or other things.
20 years before the War of SandWing Succession, Vulture saw the strife of the Scorpion Den, and wondered how someone hadn't taken advantage already. He founded the Talons of Power, a group solely dedicated to expanding the wealth and power of their leader. For over 30 years, they ruled the Den. All of a sudden, their power came crashing down when a small group named the Outclaws started to gain power. They tried to stop it, but to no avail. Their power plummeted. When the Talons of Power heard the news of Thorn's death, they rejoiced. Nothing like that could possibly happen to Vulture, right?
