Almost 90% of NightWings follow Darkstalker, and for good reason. He let NightWings have powers, and let them battle their worst enemies, the IceWings. The only condition he gave them was leaving their current homes and moving to the Lost City of Night. Valuing brilliance and cunning, Darkstalker also started to give them increased intelligence, another way he curried favor with the NightWings.
NightWings were irritated by having to live under a RainWing queen, to say the least. Luckily, it didn't last long with the Rainforest Invasion. But the NightWings were left without direction, so they tried to pretend to have powers for as long as possible. That all changed when Peril burned Darkstalker's scroll, and he woke from the mountain. He went to the Rainforest District to collect as many NightWings as possible. He also sent many messengers to spread the news to any NightWings not in the rainforest.
