SHINOBU POV

I went out of the class room and sighed when I saw that it was raining so hard. A thunder struck. I looked at my phone and sighed again.

Ever since I went to college, Giyuu had been picking me up in the house every morning and dropping me home after class. He would not miss a day. As long as I have a class, he would be there. Waiting in his car. My classmates even teased me about it. Asking me who was driving the car and when they could meet him. At that time, I didn't answer because to be honest, I didn't really know what we were.

Sometimes we ate dinner or watched a movie before going home, sometimes we ate breakfast at his car. I hoped I had the courage back then to ask him what we were exactly.

That changed a bit when he started to work for this huge company. He would message me every night to update me if he would be able to pick me up or drop me off.

At some point, his schedule got so busy that he asked my father to give me a car so whenever he can't drive for me, I can drive for myself.

But a few months ago, our arrangements totally changed. He no longer, not even once, drove me to school or home. He stopped sending me messages, stopped calling me. He would not talk to me or even glanced at me. We would occasionally cross paths at school but it was like, we don't even know each other.

And his only explanation is, "I'm your teacher now." And the worst part is, he's not even my freaking PE teacher! And I could see him talking to other female students without any problem.

What kind of lame explanation is that, right? If he likes somebody else, he should just tell me. Not ghost me! I thought he would be better than that.

A thunder struck again.

Of all the days my car would break down, it's today. I grabbed my umbrella and braced myself from the impending cold and wet. I had to walk to the station fast so I could catch the next bus.

My feet were already soaked and my slacks was dripping rain when a car honked at me. I looked up and saw a sports car slowing down beside me.

"Kocho, hopped in." A girl from my class with pixie hair told me. I didn't hesitate and went inside her car. I shivered.
"Where's your car?"
"Uh, it's getting repaired. Thank you, by the way. You can just drop me off at the bus stop near the gate." I said, afraid to ruin her car with my wet clothes.
"Silly, you live just three blocks away from ours."
"What?? I didn't know that!" She just chuckled.

We talked a bit about our class, major and extracurricular activities as we drove through the rain.

"Oh wow, you're part of the volleyball team while taking Physiology!" She looked briefly at me with awe. I blushed.
"You should try joining sports, too! I mean with your height, you're destined to play basketball or volleyball." I encouraged her.
"Hmmm" She said while looking back at the rearview mirror. She stopped suddenly in front of a convenience store and looked back at the mirror.
"Wait here, I'll just buy something." I just nodded as she put on her hoodie and ran inside the store. When she came back, she looked at the mirror again.
"What?" I finally asked.
"Uh, it's probably nothing. But I just have a feeling that we are being followed."

I turned my head and looked back but the rain was making it hard for me to see.
"Don't worry, I'm probably just being paranoid. Both my brothers were cops, you see."

We reached my home after 10 minutes. I automatically reached for the door then I remembered that I still needed to thank her. I turned my head to her again as she was about to lean forward to help me. Our heads collided. We stared at each other for a few seconds then started laughing. I sat back in my seat again while rubbing my forehead. She leaned to me and knocked on my head.
