Chapter 3: Back to Reality

GIYUU POV

I opened my eyes and sighed. The last three weeks were so fun I feel empty now. I sighed again. Well, there's no use being sad, it won't change anything.

Knock, knock, knock. "Giyuu-san? Breakfast is ready." "Yes, Nezuko, I'll be out in a minute."

"Oh, Tomioka-sensei is back!" I heard a student say, I cleared my throat and started teaching. My first class today is at the college department so it's not that strenuous. Good, because I was still exhausted from the flight. I hope this day stays uneventful. After the class, I immediately went to the high school building and went straight to the faculty room. It was lunch break so almost all the teachers were there, including Kyojuro, the high school principal.

"That's a very unflamboyant entrance!"

Mitsuri, who was probably on her way to Iguro's café, stopped. "He's back, give us the details!" She yelled on top of her lungs.
"Hey, calm down, let's all calm down.", Himejima said.

They were all staring at me, I don't know what to say, so instead, I just picked up my bag, got some chocolates and gave each of them a handful.

"What the hell are these?" Tengen asked. "I thought you wanted something good for you and your wives, and these chocolates are good! Also, I want to give to others, too. Tengen stared at me with his mouth hanging open.

Muichiro, who I didn't notice, got up. "I'll catch up on you guys later, I'll eat lunch with Tanjiro." Mitsuri was already munching her chocolates, Kyojuro, as well.

Suddenly, "Man, did you or did you not do it?" Sanemi shouted from the table near the window. Kanae was giggling beside him.

Silence fell as they waited for me to answer.

"Yes." They all gasped.
"We did it."
"Many times, in fact."

Two seconds of silence followed by Mitsuri shrieking and fainting.

Sanemi offered his fist for a bump. "Finally!"
"I'll be praying for your souls." Gyomei mumbled.

Kyojuro patted my back while holding the fainted Misturi up. Tengen howled like crazy on top of his table.

This will be a very loud day, after all.
