Chapter 14

"I'm sorry, this hall is closed today" Tony shouted over the music but they continued coming closer. "Stop the music!" The song cut off and at last the two were close enough to see through the lights and different effects.

"Loki?" You heard Thor whisper followed by Sam and Bucky "Sharon?".
The room fell quiet, everyone in utter shock. You barely knew Loki and you sure as hell didn't know this Sharon but they weren't making very good first impressions by crashing your wedding.

"You had a wedding and didn't invite us?!" Loki's voice was rough and cold and Sharon just had a face of a bitch.

"What are you doing here?" Thor took a step closer to him "I've been sent to kill you, she just tagged along" his lips curled into a smile.

"I can't believe you Bucky!" Sharon was finally speaking "huh?" She looked you up and down as if judging every part. "You tell me you don't want a relationship and then I find you marrying her" Bucky seemed to be quite confused, along with Sam and Steve.

"I was shut out from all intelligent agencies who forced me to become a criminal, Steve forgot all about me, I was betrayed by the institution that made me, and now the one man I fall for has just married... That!"

"Excuse me?" You piped in "that?" Sharon turned to you with the most bitter expression "yes that. Look at you, you're nothing! I don't even know how this happened" she laughed, pointing around the room to address the wedding.

"That's enough Sharon" Bucky snapped. The room was filling up with tension by now. "Oh come on James! I mean you seriously went for her!? What's she got that I don't?"

"Respect, looks, good attitude, want me to continue?" Sam chuckled at Bucky's response and you couldn't help but smile hearing him stick up for you.

"Well this is getting boring" you almost forgot Loki was there until he spoke "good thing we brought back up" everyone's eyes glared at the door when you all saw a bunch of aliens and enemies pile in "oh great" you muttered, removing your heels to use as a weapon.

Everyone began fighting as decorations and creatures went flying. Of course Loki and Sharon had backed into a corner refusing to fight while the rest of you battled with God knows what.

This was the bad feeling you had been having- this fight, Sharon. You could feel your blood boil as you grew more and more angry at the mere thought of her ruining yours and Bucky's wedding. Who even was this girl? What did she mean she fell for Buck?

Your thoughts were broken by an alien jumping straight at you. You grabbed the knife used to cut the cake and stabbed it through the chest, sending it to the ground as more and more came in. It just never seemed to end.

"You know, he loved me" the fight was dying down as you heard Sharon's voice from behind you. Turning to face her, you could tell she was fuming that you had all beat her team.

"Excuse me?"

"James, he loved me. He found me after breaking the Winter Soldier. We hit it off immediately" there was no way you were going to believe her but the words still played on the back of your mind.

"Yeah right" you scoffed "the only thing you've ever hit is your head when your parents dropped you on it" rolling your eyes, you tried to walk away from her but she grabbed your wrist, pulling you back.

"You little bitch! I'll prove it!" She let go and stormed over to Bucky who was still fighting. She pulled him away and smashed her lips against his without letting go. Rage built up inside you as you felt your palms start to tingle.

It wasn't just the fact she was kissing Bucky but the fact she done it on your wedding day, the one special day you get.

You raised your hands in front of you and pointed them at Sharon. With once smooth motion, you pulled her away from Bucky, slamming her into the wall. "Aww, is someone jealous?" Her laugh sent chills down your spine as you closed in on her, blinded by anger.

Your powers were getting too strong to control and next thing you knew, she was dangling in the air by her throat. "I- I can't breathe" she spluttered as some Avengers came running up to you.

"Y/N STOP!" Sam was beside you trying to tug at your arm but you were too strong. Your powers engulfed Sharon as she became a ball of energy being suffocated.

"YOU'RE GOING TO KILL HER!" Nat had joined the scene trying desperately to stop you.

"Doll, you don't want to do this. Aliens is one thing, but a human... You shouldn't have to live with that guilt" as much as Bucky's words meant to you, there was nothing you could do.

Sharon flew higher and higher up the wall, her face turning blue and purple. With one final crack, her neck snapped and her body collapsed to the ground, lifeless.

The fighting stopped and the room went so quiet you could practically hear everyone's breathing. Loki had been put into some kind of restraint as Thor led him out- probably taking him back to Asgard.

Your head turned to Sharon's body lying at your feet "I... " no words you could've said seemed appropriate right now. Bucky's hand rested on your shoulder, you felt his weight as well as his disappointment; he had always tried to keep you safe, keep you away from dangers like this...

"Take her home" You heard Tony's voice, just above a whisper, call out as Steve's hand grabbed yours pulling you away from the mess. "No! I lost control, but I'm fine now! Let me go!" It was no use, Cap was too strong. He led you away from the others and back to the compound, ending your wedding day.
