Alone At Last- Ikaris

(Y/N)'s POV:

Ikaris and I enjoy spending time together and every time we hang out, we never seem to be alone. Either Sersi or Sprite, always tag along with us. I never seem to find a dull moment with either of them but I just wish that in the thousands of years of being with him at one point I would have just him by my side and not the other Eternals. 

Don't get me wrong, I love all the Eternals but Ikaris has just hit that certain sweet spot in my heart. I couldn't picture myself with anyone else but he and that has truly ruined my life. 

"Ikaris?" I called out to my beautiful eternal that was just standing only two feet away from me. "Yes?" He responded without even turning around. "Where are we going today?" I asked as he still didn't turn around. "Anywhere you'd like," He said softly in his gorgeous accent. 

"Can we go on a date in Paris? Maybe a walk in Central Park? Or a picnic in London? Or-" "Ikaris? Are we going to check on Sersi in London?" Sprite yelled as she walked into the room. 

"Well, Ikaris and I were actually going to have a night alone tonight," I said as Sprite just smiled. "Okay, sounds fun where are we going?" She asked as I just look at Ikaris as if to say 'back me up please here dude.'

"We can go check on Sersi and then go on our picnic," Ikaris said as he turned around and smiled at Sprite and then me and for some reason, it made me a little sour that he only looked at me second. 

It made me feel as if maybe I wasn't truly his number one. Once we were at Sersi's apartment, Sprite ran right over to the couch and made herself at home. 

"Okay, so we can obviously tell that Sersi is alive and breathing and her boyfriend seemed to do  a fine job at taking care of her so can we leave now?" I asked as I practically dragged Ikaris out by the arm.

"Just one minute, maybe we can go get a drink with Sersi and Sprite?" Ikaris asked as I shook my head. "No, I am sick of this. I just want to spend one day with my boyfriend and not have to worry about our friends. I just want one day to go to dinner with Ikaris. Is that too much to ask for?" I asked as Ikaris just looked at me and nodded.

"No, it's not too much to ask for. (Y/N) is right, guys. I should go spend some more time with her and acknowledge my appreciation for her. I smiled softly at Ikaris and I just looked at the ground awkwardly when I caught Sersi and Sprite looking my way. 

I don't want them to hate me because they are my family and I truly do love them but I need my time with Ikaris and we have been together for thousands of years and never had a single date alone. 

Hell, the first time we fucked it was only for ten minutes because Druig and Sersi were calling us to go on a mission. 

"Would you like to go on that picnic now?" I asked as Ikaris shook his head and then he picked me up and flew me up. We flew for a few minutes and then he took me to LA where we went to this VERY expensive restaurant.

I don't even know how he paid or even got a reservation but I was just happy to be there with him. No one was there to bother us. 

We held hands under the table and shared a dessert together after we finished our meals. 

"I had a lovely time with you, my dear," He said as I smiled and felt my face getting warm as my cheeks felt flushed. "I just hope that Sersi and Sprite aren't mad at me for stealing you away from their night out," I said as he shook his head. 

"They won't be mad. They know you needed some time alone with me. It can be very stressful to be stuck in that ship with all of us. I understand needing some alone time," He said as I smiled, and then we felt our phones ring.

"It's Druig calling," I said as Ikaris looked at his and showed me that Sersi was calling. "I guess we have a mission," I said as I stood up and started to put my jacket back on. "Just one more thing before we go," He said as he stood up and then kissed me roughly in front of all these other people on dates.

"I just wanted to do that before we left," he said as I smiled and then we left.
