Waking Up Next to You- Bucky Barnes

(Y/N)'s POV:

I woke up and the bed seemed more lonely than usual. I lazily sat up and looked at my phone. I had some notifications from Sam about training this morning which I obviously missed and I had some notifications from Thor about joining him in space with the Guardians. It was a pretty normal morning except I have no clue where my boy toy or as normal people say, boyfriend, was. 

So I looked at the end of the bed and I could see one of his many hoodies. I pulled on over my head and then just sat in bed scrolling through one of my many apps. Then I heard the door handle click. Someone from the other side was opening it. "Good morning, beautiful! I was training with Sam, sorry for leaving so early but you were asleep anyway," He said with the most adorable smile. His hair was in a tight little man bun and he was wearing a gray hoodie with the left sleeve torn off. His new arm glistened in the bedroom light. 

He unzipped his hoodie and slowly took it off. I couldn't help but stare at him as he revealed his abs to the world. "See something you like?" He asked without looking up at me. "Oh yes, most definitely," I said while drooling over him. He then walked into the bathroom and turn the shower on. I then got out of bed and made my way over to the dresser so I could put on some everyday clothes. 

I changed into a pair of shorts with a tank top tucked into it and a flannel around my waist. I then brushed my hair and put my Doc Martians on. I went over to my nightstand so I could put my jewelry on, as I did that the bathroom door opened and a gust of steam left the room. Walking through the steam was a damp winter soldier with a towel wrapped around his waist. 

I quickly turned my back to him once I saw him take the towel off so he could put on some clothes. I just looked away and blushed. I grabbed a necklace and tried to put it on. I was struggling greatly, He then came up behind me and grabbed the necklace so that he could help me put it on. 

I then turned around and he was wearing a pair of jeans. That was it. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I put my arms on his shoulders, we kissed passionately and then the bedroom door opened.

"Do you mind not making out right at this moment? I need someone to help make the kids breakfast," Sam said while covering his eyes with one of his hands. "I will be right down," I said while letting go of James. 

I grabbed my phone and walked out the door behind Sam. When I went downstairs I saw Peter in the kitchen trying to get the cereal. I walked over to him and grabbed the cereal from above him. He smiled up at me and then walked over to Morgan who was sitting at the table with two empty bowls in front of her. 

I went to the fridge and got the milk and then went to give them their breakfast. After I knew that they were eating I then went back into the kitchen so that I could make some eggs, toast, and coffee for everyone else. "Can we go outside?" Peter asked while putting his and Morgan's empty bowls in the sink. I nodded. "Just make sure you are careful," I said while buttering the toast. 

Peter smiled and ran outside with Morgan. I just continued doing what I was doing. Before I knew it two arms were snaking their way around my torso from behind. "What are you doing?" I asked while turning my head so I could kiss him on the cheek. "Mmm, coffee," He said into my ear. "Umm, my name is (Y/N)." I corrected him. 

He just smiled at me and then walked over to the coffee pot with a mug in hand. 

It was a perfectly normal day and I was so happy. My friends were training, my boyfriend was eating breakfast with me, and the two kids that show up here every day were outside. "We should do something later?" He said to me as I looked out the window. "Like what?" "I don't know maybe we could go for a run, or spar in the training room, or shoot in the shooting range." I rolled my eyes at him. "Is that your idea of a fun date?" He shrugged. "Oh, James Barnes, there is still so much for me to teach you," He then smiled at me and I smiled back while stuffing my face with eggs and toast.
