(Y/N)'s POV:

I have been a waitress at this diner for the longest time. It smells, I don't get paid enough, and I am not a people person. Basically, this is the worst job for me. But don't get me wrong. I love the people I work with and I love the regulars. Just sometimes it is not the best place in the world to be.

We don't even serve Diner food. We serve Shwarma. We have signs all over the place that say Diner but we are a Shwarma place. I don't think the owner speaks English very well.

One day, I was sweeping the floor before our big lunch crowd when I then looked outside and saw people screaming and running away from everything. I went outside and saw these things flying in the sky and Iron Man fighting whatever the creatures were.

I ran back inside the diner and locked the doors behind me. I told the Chef to get behind the counter and hide while I grabbed my gun I kept hidden under the cash register. Eventually, a few hours had past and it seemed calmer outside. I then heard a thud.

I stood up and got my gun ready. I then saw Iron Man and his friends at my diner door. "Are you guys still open?" He yelled from outside. I nodded without making a noise. I set down the gun and then fixed my apron. I opened the door and they all walked in.

Tony Stark, Captain America, some guy with a bow and arrow, a guy who was dressed in a nice purple shirt, some man that had armor all over his body, and a beautiful woman with short fiery red hair.

I let them in and handed them menus. Tony ordered for them all and I gave the orders to the Chef who was also in shock from behind the counter. As they ate, I cleaned up broken glass and continued to sweep up the dirt that I was trying to do earlier.

I heard some quiet words being said between a few of them. "She's cute. Cap, I'll give you $20 if you ask her out." "Alright."

Then one of them stood up and walked over to me. "Hi, I was just wondering what you would be doing later today." "Probably getting fired," I said while he then awkwardly smiled. "Maybe you would like a cup of coffee later?" He asked with a dorky smile. "Sorry, I don't drink coffee," I lied.

He nodded and then walked back to the table. "Alright, Brucey! Your turn," Tony said a little loudly as the poor guy stood up and smiled as he walked over to me. "No," Was all I said before he even got to me. He nodded and went back to his seat.

"Let me show you Midgaurdians how to really get a girl," The one in armor said as he stood up and walked over to me with a certain force. "You aren't my type," I said as he smiled and then looked back at the rest of them. "I am certain that I can change your mind if you would embark on a wonderful day at a ball," He said as I just shook my head. He shrugged and went back to his seat.

"Your turn," Tony said while pointing to the guy sitting across from him. The guy shook his head no and then that was it. No other guy went up to me. Tony eventually called me over for the check. I continued to clean up and get ready to lock up as I kept glancing at the table.

As I took their plates, I handed the redhead a napkin. She smiled as soon as she read what it said.

"What's that?" Tony asked as they grabbed their stuff so they could leave.

"Her number," She said with a wink towards me.
