The fight we had went on for a couple of days. It's long but considering all the time that Mark spends for work, it's understandable. The only time I get to see him is when he gives me coffee every single morning. He never missed. For the rest of the day, my meals were sent by his secretary.

I never had the chance to escape again. It's not that I don't want to, but I think it's really useless because Mark is determined to keep me in here, and Karina warned me about the guards outside of this house and all around the town.

I heard a small knock. "It's Karina..."

"Come in." I answer. "I already ate."

"Oh," She happily laughs. "I'm here to talk to you about something that Mark wanted me to tell you."

"What is it?"

"Your family wants to see you..." She answers in a quiet voice. "With Mark. They invited you both for dinner."

I trail off. "D-Dinner? O-Out?"

"Yes." She sighs.

"I'll be out? Back to my home?" My insides twisted in excitement. "O-Okay... When is it?"

"Later." She lifted a brow at me. "Are you sure, Donghyuck? Mark would understand it if you refuse-"

"I want to go out. It's suffocating here." I smile and finally search for clothes that I'm gonna be wearing. "Do you think I can buy clothes right now?"

"I'll have it delivered as soon as possible." Karina nodded at me and gave me her phone. "Just call me if you need anything else."

I gladly received and immediately sought a clothing brand that I can buy clothes in. I have to receive it today so I chose a few ones first. Once I'm done, I went out of my room and knocked on Karina's room.

What welcomed me was Mark looking down at me in disbelief. Behind him was Karina who smiled at me immediately and went right beside Mark. My eyebrows furrow at the sight.

What the hell? Were they making out before I entered?

"Here." I pushed the phone to Karina and walked out with a loud stomp.

Damn it, why did they have to do it when I'm around? They could've done it in the car or in the bathroom! Fuck. Karina's lips were glossy and Mark was biting his own lips! They obviously kissed!

"Donghyuck!"

My breath hitched as I turned on my heels and face Mark. "What is it?"

"I went in there to have my tie placed. She did it for me and nothing happened after." He pants out. "I'm sorry..."

"Were you kissing?" I trail off. I'm actually unsure if this is still necessary to ask but I asked anyway. Fuck.

"No." He replies with a pleading tone. "We did not kiss. She just put on lipgloss after she placed my tie for me. We did not kiss. I'm sorry, Donghyuck."

"About the dinner, what time will it start?" I changed the topic, afraid that he might have caught something from my tone which is disappointment and jealousy.

I mean, he told me that he still loves me last night and when I saw them, I got disappointed. I started thinking that none of what he said last night was true at all. But when he explained, my heart softened. I started accepting his explanations.

"Seven." He sighs. "Did you buy clothes for it?"

I nod.

"If you want anything else, just tell me."
