A few days passed by and yesterday we went to the hospital. Mark was finally allowed to go to work and I didn't stop him even if I wanted to tell him to rest for a little bit longer. The doctor told me, though, to always prepare Mark's vitamins and make him the best healthy food there is.

"Love?"

"Yes, love?"

"Oh... Are you not done showering yet?" I yell back.

"I'm still changing..." He replied to me and that was my cue to run back into the kitchen and prepare his food that I made right after I woke up.

Up until now, I've been sleeping on the couch, just so I can also make early breakfast for him. Knowing that he'll now allow me to, I sneak in every night after he sleeps. Also, I'm still uncomfortable sleeping beside Mark because I still don't trust myself.

"Wow!" Mark exclaims. "Today's a feast, huh?"

"They are healthy foods, though." I utter shyly. Because most of the foods I prepare are fruits and vegetables.

"Let's eat together, love?"

"Those are for you—"

"Those are for us." He cuts me off by kissing my lips. "Besides, it would be meaningless to eat all these healthy and delicious foods without my pretty husband who takes good care of me."

"Ah!" I pout at his sweetness, early in the morning. "S-Stop it! I haven't even taken a bath yet!"

"Really?" Mark sniffs me. Then chuckles. "You smell great." He didn't stop sniffing me until then.

"Ah! Come on! You're gonna be late." I groan while giggling and pushing him away gently.

"Just a minute. I have to give my husband all my love..." He pressed his lips on top of my forehead. "God, I love you so much."

"I-I... l-love you..." I whisper to myself, making sure he doesn't hear.

"Thank you for all of these, love."

"You're welcome..." I said with flushed red cheeks and finally, ate with him.

I was bombarded with all of his compliments, telling me he loves all of my dishes and that he loves me so much. Of course it made me so happy and contented.

"I'm full!" Mark groans after eating and brushing his teeth. "You make the best everything, love!"

"Ah! I don't." I frown. "I don't even treat you right..."

"What?"

I snapped out of my sad self and shook my head. "N-Nothing. Where's your tie?"

"I'll just wear a bowtie—"

"Why?" I tilt my head. "You look good with the other tie."

"I don't know how to do it." He says while slowly wiping his chin and his hands with the clean towel.

"Let me have it then," I open my palms. "I'll do it for you..."

"Really?" His lips were tugged into a wide grin as he let go of the towel. "I'll get it. For a while, love..."

I watch him as he runs towards our room upstairs and a moment later, he's already holding the black tie on his palms. As he welcomes me, he lends the tie with a wide smile.

Why is he so adorable?

I wrap it around his neck, under the collar of his suit and tie it neatly, then. I tap his wide shoulders as I adore his tie and his handsome face.

"You look like a wife."

I glared at his joke and took a wide step backwards. "You're gonna be late."

"I really do have to go." He agreed with me and started wearing his coat. I fiddle with my fingers as I watch him prepare to leave.
