The next day, Mark brought me to his work. I look like his son whom he brought with him because he can't leave me with anyone and because it's a holiday for school. Except that he's holding my hands like a real husband that he is.

"I have a meeting with the stocks department today, 9:00 AM. Would you be okay alone? Or do you want me to bring you with me?"

"Don't they hate me?"

Mark quirks a brow. "Who?"

"Your colleagues. They thought I cheated on you, right?" I said sadly, clenching on his suit and wrinkling it. "Do they still hate me? Especially that Yuta, guy?"

"No, love..." He sighs. "They already cleared their assumptions of you cheating on me. They don't hate you and also, I can't let that happen."

"I want to be with you... B-But if it's not comfortable for you, I'm fine in—"

"Let's go, love?"

"Okay..." I shyly answered as he offered his arms for me to cling on. I attached myself with him and started walking with him. "Love, what should I do?"

While checking his papers he says, "About what, love?"

"Oh... Like, inside? Should I talk too? Or should I just stay in the corner? Do you want me to just wait outside?"

"You can sit with me. Ask for coffee. Talk if you want to. Just do everything you want. There are no restrictions lifted for my husband." He laughs while finally opening the wide door that I didn't expect to be the meeting hall.

There were already people inside and when they saw us, they stood up and bowed. I felt shy, of course, because I'm not used to having someone bow down to me even if they really did that for Mark. I clung onto my husband who walked confidently while smiling at them.

"Is it okay if I sit next to Jungwoo, love?" He whispers. "I have to assist him and ask him to do things."

I tilt my head as I analyse the seats. There are two vacant seats and after those are Jungwoo's seat. I can either sit next to Jungwoo, in the middle, or let Mark sit next to him.

I don't like the latter but I want to make Mark do things that he wants.

"Okay." I huff, sitting down on the first seat. Mark sat next to me, then grasped my thighs.

"Good morning, Mark!" The man next to Mark exclaims.

"Good morning to you, too, Jungwoo." Mark smiled kindly. "Please write the minutes and send them to my mom. Everything must be accurate."

"Sure thing, Mark. Anything else?"

"Love, do you want anything?"

"No." I firmly said.

I suddenly felt bad for coming here but I know I'll feel more bad for not coming because if I didn't, I wouldn't be able to guard my husband from Jungwoo.

"Okay." Mark says. "So, let's start?"

Their meeting started and ended with me learning and knowing nothing. I just heard they mentioned my father's company a couple of times but I didn't take heed of it.

All I can hear is Jungwoo's giggles and his soft taps to Mark. All Mark did was hold me though and that made me even more confident that I shouldn't worry about anything.

I certainly don't have to worry about anything.

"What happened to the branch in Canada?" Yuta asks the moment he walked in Mark's office.

I was on Mark's couch on the corner when he entered so he didn't see me. But I'm sure he'll frown if he sees me anytime now.

"They're going to restructure it. Turns out, the engineer scammed them. They used cheap things and stole the budget." Mark washed his face with his palms as he groaned into it. "We're still searching for the engineer, but the branch in there will surely rise soon."
