"Donghyuck…" Johnny hyung had knocked on my door, probably to check if I'm still alive. "Baby… Come out. Sarang is searching for you."

"A minute, hyung. I'm changing!" I yell back. I wore clothes over me before I walked rapidly out of the room and ran to the dining area.

"Sarang…"

"Papa!" Sarang calls me, she was sitting on the couch while the educational video was flashing right before her. "My head hurts…"

"Come here…" I smile as she walks slowly, then made a grabby arms. I carried her small figure in me and tapped her back.

"What happened, Sarang?"

"I guess I just don't feel fine." She hums. "When is daddy gonna visit? It's been so long."

I was taken aback at the sudden mentioning of my husband's name. I sigh and face her pretty face, then smiled.

"Sarang understands what we currently have right now, right?"

She's a smart girl and she picks up events fast. She was so intrigued, she asked me over and over about it until I didn't have any other choice but to tell her. Of course not all but the salient points of it are the things I told her and she was able to grasp it.

I guess she's just missing Mark because from what I heard, my husband visits the adoption centre twice a month or more. Never less. That's why most of the kids started missing him already.

"I wanna meet baby brother, papa…"

I inhale breath and sigh loudly. "His name is Haechan."

"Haechan. He's gonna be a cute baby."

"Yeah." I bite my lip and hid my face behind her head, hugging her at the moment.

"Baby, dinner time." Mama called from the dining table and so Sarang and I, went straight to it.

"What about the other kids?"

"Chenle, Jisung and Taeyong already fed them first. The only one's left are us and Taemin."

"Mama, did someone came here earlier to adopt?" Johnny asked.

"Yes." Mama sighs. "And they want the younger ones as much as possible. I think they're after Minhyuck or Taemin."

"What?" My breath hitched.

"Yes." Mama said and looked at me with questioning eyes.

"If Minhyuck will be chosen…" Sarang hesitantly said and looked at me. "Oh… I'm not gonna cry. I w-won't…"

"Shh… It's not final yet." I try to comfort here but I know that I'm a bit bothered as well.

I've grown so close to Minhyuck already compared to other kids. To be honest, I don't want him to be adopted by other parents. I want him for me, just like I want Sarang to be mine.

Oh heavens, please let them be mine.

"It's waining?" Minhyuck, who just chimed in out nowhere, hums while killing the hotdogs through his fork. "Loud rain. I don't like."

"Rain is good for plants, Minhyuck." Sarang, the smart lassie, answered. "It'll help them grow and the dust from the roads will be cleared out."

"Cweawed out?" Taemin cutely tilted his head and munched on his cereals—in which he very much loves that he can eat it from time to time.

"What is cweawed out?" Minhyuck pouted and looked at Taemin. "Noona said cleared."

Oh dang, they're so adorable!
