A chance?

Now that I've come to think about it—maybe. Mark is someone I can see some sparks with. Mark is genuine. Mark is so loving. Mark is so understanding. The same old walking green flag.

The pain from before was just the effect of my mother's lies. The anger and disappointments from that shouldn't stay in me for too long. I guess it's time to move on from that pain.

"Love?"

My body burns in giddiness as I try to nod my head. "Yes…"

"Fuck…" He chuckles and kisses my forehead for quite some time and dropping on the bridge of my nose. "I'm still courting you, hmm?"

"C-Court?" My lips forms into a small smile. "Just like before?"

"No." He replies as he gently cups my cheeks upwards. "Courting you for marriage."

This marriage?

"M-Mark…"

"I know that you don't want this marriage. I know that we planned to get divorced after this. I know that this is not what you want," He sighs as I also felt his hands shiver on my chin. "But love, I want this marriage. I don't want to let you go. I don't want a divorce. I don't want you to leave. I want you, to want me too. I want everything with you, love…"

Those sturdy plans that I planned with him seems to have been broken down when he pleaded. Mark is sincere about what he said and now I want to retract everything that I said.

I'm starting to like this marriage more than I should. I'm starting to like Mark more than I  thought I could. I'm starting to bring back and continue everything that we failed to do before.

I like Mark.

Being in this marriage is probably better than being out of this. I want this.

"Give me time…" I shut my eyes and sigh. "Let's try again when I'm ready."

"Of course." He sniffles which made me look at him, only then I found out he's crying. Mark is crying in front of me.

"Why are you crying?" I pout and wipe his small tears away.

"I'm just overwhelmed. I love you, Donghyuck. Heavens knows how much I love you and this… is everything that I asked for," He sobs after gently pecking my forehead. "Now that it's here, I feel so happy. You're my husband now, and I love you so fucking much. All these years Seo Donghyuck, it has always been you."

I giggle before answering, "Lee Donghyuck. I'm a Lee."

"Shit…" He laughs happily. "Your name sounds so much better with my surname. Damn, I love you."

I hum and collapse into his chest. I sniff his scent and try to chase my sleepiness, but it seems like I can't. Mark is keeping me awake.

"Mark?"

"Yes, love?" He hums, threading his fingers through my hair.

"How about you? Have you ever had a person after me?" Silently, I ask.

"Oh…" His body tensed. "Can I be honest?"

"That doesn't sound good to me. Why? There is?" I frown.

"When we were apart from each other, around six months after I left, I had this woman." He says while chapping off hiw bottom lip. "But it wasn't something like what I have you with you, love. It was just a night, just a single night."

"Sex?"

"I got tempted." He sighs. "I was drunk and I was alone."

A long frown took up my face. "Is she pretty? Sexy? Do you know her? What's her name—"
