"Cole, salut! J'ai été sage, et toi?" I asked, hugging her as well
"J'ai été bon, merci!" She smiled. Then, I heard footsteps running down the stairs. I turned to see my brother at the bottom.
"Camille." He said
"Nicolas. Plaisir." I said sarcastically
"Le plaisir est pour moi." He replied, equally as sarcastic
"Qu'y a-t-il, Nicolas?" Asked my mom
"Je vais juste chez André." He replied
"Alors vas-y," My mom sighed. He turned to leave.
"Au revoir, Nicolas! Ravi de vous voir, cher frère!" I smiled, clearly fake.
"Oh, comme c'est doux! J'aimerais pouvoir dire la même chose," He smiled back
"Va te faire foutre, veux-tu?" I said
"Volontier," Nicolas replied, leaving
"Maintenant que cette nuisance est partie, êtes-vous prêt à parler à Spencer et son frère?" I asked
"Attendez, avant d'appeler, quels sont le nom et les pronoms de ses frère et sœur?" Cole asked
"Elle s'appelle Josie et il utilise n'importe quel pronom." I replied
"D'accord, merci," Cole said, and I called him.
"Hey, Cam!" He grinned
"Spence!" I exclaimed
"Hi Cam!" Called a voice from beside the camera. Ranboo shifted the camera over to show Josie sitting beside them.
"Jo! What's up?" I asked
"Nothing much, you?" He asked
"Yeah, sane," I nodded.
"Spencer! It's so lovely to see you again, you look handsome as always!" My mom smiled
"Thank you, Genevieve! You don't look a day over 20," He replied
"Oh, you flatter me far too much," My mom laughed.
"Spencer! How are you? We've missed you!" Exclaimed Amélie
"I've been good, Amélie! How are you and Colette?" They asked
"We're good!" Smiled Cole
" I'm glad! Anyways, everyone, this is my sibling Josie! I wish I could introduce you to my moms, but they're on vacation right now, sorry about that," Ranboo smiled apologetically
"No worries! We'll meet them one day," Smiled my mom. We made friendly chatter for a bit longer. Everyone seemed to get along with Josie really well, which made me super happy, because I adore them. Even if I had to deal with Nicolas, the little bitch, my family made me happy, which is more than I was able to say at this time last year. It's not much, but it's progress. Baby steps.
