"Cam, you need to get out of bed at some point!" Called Niki from the kitchen
"Suck my balls!" I yelled back, rolling onto my other side. My door creaked open slowly and I felt someone sit on the edge of my bed.
"I made chicken noodle soup. How are you doing?" Niki asked softly. At that, I burst into tears.
"Oh, honey," Niki looked at me sympathetically. I moved into a position where I was half sitting up and tried to calm down a bit.
"Niki, why did I do that?" I sobbed
"Cam, dear, breathe. It will be ok. If it was meant to be, the universe will bring you back together," Niki reassured, stroking my hair. I took deep breaths, leaning into Niki's side. She handed me the bowl of soup and I took slow bites. I had to admit, it was delicious.
"There you go." Smiled Niki calmly, still stroking my hair.
"Can we do something?" I asked
"Like what?" Asked Niki
"Let's stream!" I exclaimed suddenly, sitting up and putting down my now empty soup bowl.
"Cam, are you sure that's a good idea?" Asked Niki cautiously. I thought about it for a second.
"No," I sighed, slumping back down.
"Hey Cam, I have a question," Said Niki
"What's up?" I replied
"Do you think maybe you could benefit from therapy?" She asked carefully
"Absolutely not. No way. No thank you. I'm fine. I'm great." I said quickly, crossing my arms. She looked at me skeptically.
"Yeah, I could," I sighed, giving in. She laughed softly.
"I'll see what I can do. In the meantime, let's watch a movie. Have you seen Encanto yet?" Asked Niki
"No," I answered
"Perfect, me neither. Lets watch it." She smiled, turning it on. I sighed and laid my head on her shoulder. An hour and a half later, the movie ended, and we were both sobbing.
"God, I'm a Mirabel kinnie," I muttered. Niki laughed.
"It was so good- god I'm in love with Luisa," She sighed
"Me with Dolores," I replied
"And ugh, Camilo's voice!" She exclaimed
"I know, right? Oh my god, can we watch a disney nature film?" I asked excitedly, finding a documentary about oceans while scrolling through disney+. So, for the next while, we watched a documentary about oceans. And we finished our movie marathon with Bohemian Rhapsody. And the entire time, I didn't think about Ranboo once. It was perfect, actually.
