Chapter 25- Frozen

"Alright, go whenever you're ready," I tell Loki.
He nods, walks over to the lock and closes his eyes.
"Grab the blanket," he says.
I don't question it and grab the blanket.
He puts his hands on the lock and it starts to freeze the ice begins to spread right around him. The prison gets colder and colder by the second. I see why I need the blanket now. I wrap the blanket around me. The room gets colder and colder.
"Whatever you do, do NOT touch anything with your bare skin!" He yells form his cell. The air continues to get colder and ice spreads further and further around the prison. It begins to creep into my cell. I jump on the mattress. I watch Loki's hands. The light on the lock begins to flicker and fade. I hear cracking and see the lock break, the cell door springing open. Loki continues. The lights begin to flicker. I hear more cracking as his bracelets fall off. Something hits the floor close to me. I look at where the noise came from to see my lock on the floor. The lights in the prison begin to fade. My bracelets begin to get really cold.
"Alright Loki, I think that's enough!" I yell to him.
He nods.
The pain from the bracelets gets worse as the cold gets to my skin more and more.
He opens his eyes and looks at me.
"Oh, what did I do?" He asks looking at me concerned.
"Uhm, froze everything..." I say looking at him.
"No, to you. What did I do to you?" he asks me with more concern in his voice as he runs over into my cell.
I put my wrists out.
"Oh no. I'm so sorry. I think I can undo this. Make you warmer," He says changing back into his Asgardian form. I nod.
He places his hands on my wrists. They're still cold.
His hands begin to warm up. The layer of ice covering the bracelets begins to melt and they get a bit warmer. My hands begin to warm up
Once he seems satisfied he holds my hands and gives me a warms smile before pulling me into a hug.
Wasn't expecting that.
