Chapter 61- The Mission Part 1

Yay. Finally got a chapter ready. Woohooo!!!

We get on the quintet.
I've already set up my AI so I'm ready to go.
"Ok, so do we all remember the plan?" Tony asks.
A chorus of the word 'yes' comes from everyone.
"Does everyone remember their groups?" Steve asks.
Another lot of 'yes' comes from the group.
"Ok, we'll there's been a tiny change of plan. It's nothing major. Loki and Y/N will be with Steve and Nat, retrieving Bucky. They'll be able to calm him with magic," Tony says.
I look at Tony in shock for the second time this hour.
"I didn't think I was coming in!" I exclaim.
"Yeah, well Bruce said he can handle the quintet and giving instructions and it seems like you could probably still help people while you fight sooo..." Tony trails off.
"That I can do. Thank you so much!" I say.
I look over to Loki.
"You look as surprised as I feel," I say.
"Uhm- well yeah. I didn't expect to be coming on the mission in the first place, let alone actually fighting with these guys," he says.
"You'll be fine," I say.
He smiles at me.

"Ok, we're here," Clint says landing the jet.
"Everyone remember what they're doing?" Tony questions.
We all nod.
"Avengers!" Steve whispers, "Assemble."
We all sneak out out the quinjet to our assigned positions. I can tell that this mission is going to be hard for everyone.
"Ok, Thor, Sam, Peter, your team, you can head in," Tony says.
We wait for a couple of minutes until our group makes our way into the base. Thor, Sam, Peter and the others have most of the attention on them because they went in first so most agents are headed that way. We're entering from the opposite end of the facility.
It's more deserted than I thought.
"Somethings not right," I say.
Steve looks at me. I see someone over his shoulder and fire a bullet at them.
Groups of HYDRA agents begin to make their way around a corner towards us.
Not so deserted after all.
This will be fun.
