13 days had passed since Athena-soon to be Chambers- Lachance and Richard Chambers had officially filed for guardianship over Christopher Chambers.

13 days of work for Athena and Eyeball while Chris was dropped off to school each morning by Eyeball and picked up by Athena.

13 days of living like a normal family with Chris's mind getting confused and trying to remember Eyeball was his brother not dad.

13 days of having Athena and Eyeball look after him, making him breakfast, a packed lunch for school and dinner.

13 days of him pulling as much of his weight as he could, he took the dogs for their walks and fed them, he made bacon sandwiches for Athena and Eyeball on their day off and left them alone in the house so they could relax together.

13 days of hearing Teddy, Vern and Gordie tease him nicely about finally having a family.

13 days of Vern saying how he was sincerely so excited for the wedding, whenever it was.

13 days of Eyeball working as much as possible, desperate to prove himself to his boss, the community and most importantly Athena.

13 days of Athena ignoring all of McKenzie's comments and nags to start planning a wedding.

13 days of Athena and Eyeball having secret panics together when Chris had gone to bed, terrified about the upcoming hearing and scared of being denied.

13 days of Athena's dad helping them out where he could, doing his best to give his daughter the courage she needed for what was coming.

13 days of the small population of Castle Rock slowly and cautiously accepting Ace, Eyeball and the other cobras as a threat but nowhere what they were before.

13 days of Jax and Max waking Eyeball up each day with licks to the face.

13 days of Chris saying 'goodnight mum' every time Athena tucked him in at night.

13 days of a struggle to finally give Jax a bath after his bandage was allowed off and he was beginning to stink.

13 days of Eyeball being the first one to fall asleep so Athena could go stand by Chris's door and watch him sleep peacefully with the dogs, hoping he was dreaming the best of dreams.

13 days of Athena helping Chris with his homework and teaching him more than he ever learnt at school while he gave her his full attention.

13 days of enjoying the evenings where they sat and had dinner together, listening to Athena's cop stories and problems down at the auto shop from Eyeball.

13 days of Chris slowly beginning to start nagging Athena to plan the wedding.

13 days of Athena just saying as long as she had Chris and Eyeball there that was all she cared about.

13 days of Chris helping Athena with dinner each night so he could learn how to cook.

13 days of Eyeball calming Athena down when she panicked and cried thinking she was going to lose Chris and they'd take him away.

13 days of Athena holding Eyeball close when he went off on one thinking they were going to take Chris away and he'd lose his only family.

13 days of Chris secretly hearing Athena and Eyeball's worries when they thought he was asleep.

13 days of Chris lying in bed each night with the dogs and praying every God and almighty being that he doesn't get taken away from this family.

13 days of them all secretly praying they become a real family.
